His and Hers #1

New feature time!! Some of you who have been around a little while might remember the time Ben had his own little feature on my blog in my Man Style post, and recently we had Man Style Take 2. He didn’t get to have a different outfit photographed for that post though, so I decided I would start up a new feature where every so often Ben can get in on my outfit posts too, so here he is! It’s not the most exciting of outfits, but men’s outfits are difficult to be exciting I think. This is actually a fairly recent set of photos – I’ve skipped a few sets of photos to get these up! They’re from Saturday morning when we just popped into town to pick up a few things. I was actually wearing something a little different before we set off because I thought it was going to be cooler than it was; pretty much the same outfit but with tights and different shoes. But I have photos of that and I don’t want to waste them, so you’ll get those another day!

He’s wearing:
Grey Polo Shirt: Abercombie & Fitch
Belt: The Officers’ Club
Green Chinos: Clothing at Tesco (similar here)
Suede Brogues: Clothing at Tesco
So I’ve mentioned recently that I’ve really got into buying clothes at supermarkets – Ben has too! We saw the other day that there was a sale on at Clothing at Tesco, so we put in a pretty big order for the two of us. Ben got these chinos and shoes in that order as well as a few other things, and I got a few pieces (including a onesie that I’m wearing right now!!). His grey polo surprised me when I listed where everything was from as I didn’t realise it was Abercrombie – apparently he got it on eBay, but I think it looks just the same as his other polos from places like Matalan! Ben tends to wear chinos quite a lot at the moment – he used to wear jeans, but chinos are that little bit smarter. And he thought he was cool with his new shoes, all suedey 😀

Denim Jacket: Matalan (similar here)
Pleated Lace Dress: Primark (similar here)
Ring: c/o Carnaby & Campbell
Sandals: Tu at Sainsburys (sale)
I wore this jacket so many times last summer. When the sun finally comes out, my denim jacket makes its appearance in nearly every outfit. It’s a perfect length for most of the clothes I wear and is a good replacement for my old Zara navy cardigan (I need another one of those!!). Take a look at a few of the ways I’ve worn my denim jacket – I should really do a remix post with it! The pleated lace dress I’ve only worn once on the blog before, and with the navy cardigan I was just talking about!! That appears everywhere 😀 It’s a really easy piece to wear and looks fairly pulled together for days when I don’t want to make an effort! I grabbed these sandals the other day when I noticed that Sainsburys had 25% off everything as I was grabbing my lunch in there – yep, I’m aaaalways taken in by these things! They’re fairly similar to my ones from last summer, but these have a less flat bottom (if that makes sense) so they should be better for long days out. They’ll probably go with pretty much anything too, which of course makes them awesome.
Back to the old grindstone at work today – a lot of people are off on holiday including the bosses, so it was pretty quiet. I’ve got quite a lot on at the moment because I’ve taken on a bit of someone’s work while they’re away plus a couple of other things, but it’s not at all stressful, enough to keep me busy and enjoying it 🙂 I love being busy because I get on with things a lot better then. We made some brownies tonight because I came across a recipe for some while perusing some blogs earlier and was very tempted. I bought eggs while in town, then, being me, I managed to get them all the way home without breaking a single one, got into the kitchen, went to put them down on the top, and missed….broke every single egg! Ah well, that’s Sian for you 😀
