Swishy

Now I know you always see all these bloggers in their vintage clothes and whatnot, and I’ve always been so jealous of them. We don’t have many vintage-y type shops where I live, nearest is 25 miles away, and it’s not even that good =( The good one closed down a couple of years ago. But recently I remembered our dressing up box, the one my sister and I used for dressing up when we were 7 =D And in this box I remembered a long skirt. Here is that long skirt =D I thought it just belonged to my mum, which is true, but she got it off her mother-in-law, my Grandma who wore it at least 30 years ago =)

This is actually my outfit from yesterday. And yes, I’ve been playing with the sun in my pictures again haha! I need to stop doing this!! Last night I went for tea at Ben’s house, and when I walked in the door Ben said to his mum: “Look, Sian’s dressing up!” I was like, oh thanks, that’s what you think of my skirt!! My whole family thinks it’s funny I wear it, but I love it because it’s swishy and floaty and floral and high waisted, pretty much perfect for me!

There’s a little story line to the pictures above, it pretty much just goes: *spinning, spinning, heading slowly towards the tree, spinning, oops hit the tree, smile in case anyone’s looking!* The place I had the camera set up was on the fence between our house and our neighbours so I was worried they were looking, but I don’t think they were =D
Red Dress (worn as a top): American Apparel
Waist Belt: Topshop
Long Skirt: Vintage
T-Bar Flats: Barratts (childrens)
I forgot to take outfit photos today, and I loved my outfit too, maybe I’ll put on the outfit tomorrow and do photos, but I’ve got a busy day tomorrow!! I’m going back to my old school to sit in and observe some Greek classes in the morning (yehhh…my school has classes on Saturday…), then in the afternoon Ben and I are going to Ikea.
