So I cheated a little bit on this outfit =D It’s now super late too haha! It was for Ben’s sister’s 21st, and we just went out for a meal, but you know me, I’m never one to pass up the opportunity for heels! So while I managed to make an outfit out of my 30 for 30 clothes items, I couldn’t bear not to wear my Vivienne Westwoods with it, and they did really perfect the outfit =)
I had another lovely day with Rosie and Fran =) We’re hopefully making Wednesdays our official meeting up day since we all finish at 1 and have nothing in the afternoon. It took us a while to decide where to eat but eventually decided on China Town because, well, it’s cheap and all you can eat!! And despite the fact that we said we wouldn’t eat much, we did… and we had ice cream afterwards haha!
And of course, we couldn’t help but do a bit of shopping afterwards =) I really want one of the Kelly Brook for New Look bikinis, so we went to have a look at those (but I’m hoping Ben will buy me one!), and we had a look in Topshop too. They all have such nice vintage style swimming costumes too, and I wish that I wore them more often because I would definitely buy one, but I always wear bikinis because I don’t have much of the year to get a tan, so I try to make the most of it when I can!! But I still really want one of these Topshop ones (they had them in nicer patterns and colours than this one!). So anyway, Rosie told us that she “sort of” remembered this place she went in Newcastle where there were some vintage shops and we wanted to have a look, so she had to give her friend George a ring to find out where they were, since she thought she dreamed it or something!! Anyway, we found the place under George’s instruction, and found a really cute, quirky little retro/vintage shop, where I bought a very cute dress for £19.99. I’ll show you it soon!!
