Yes, apparently this is how “Normal Sian” dresses. Or maybe not. Other people might feel “normal” dressing like this, but to me it felt odd, just not very me. These are probably my favourite jeans (from Primark 3 years ago too!) and the cardigan is lovely, but I just didn’t feel right in it, I wanted to put on a dress or something! It was nice to be different for a day though, but I can assure you I’m back in my dresses and skirts again now! It was also really hard for me just to put on a plain T-shirt with this look, but I’ve never worn just jeans and a white tee before, so I felt it was due time to try it out =)
Normal Sian?!
After wearing this outfit, I decided I’d actually worn the cardigan out. I don’t mean I’d ruined it or anything, I just didn’t feel I could do anymore outfits with it. So that’s another one that’s up on the old eBay. Oh gosh, don’t get me started on eBay…I’ve decided after this lot of items is finished on there, I’m done with eBay forever. I’ve had a few people be ridiculously rude to me on there, demanding money back for items that are “damaged”, but were both unworn. One told me I was “unacceptable” and demanded more money than they paid for it!! The other told me I was a liar, that the item I sent them was “completely ruined”, a “discrace” (yes, spelled like that), they “wouldn’t put them on a tramp”. I offered both a refund, and as I said, one demanded more…no idea why?! The other I asked to send pictures of the damage and I would send them a refund, but they messaged back saying “This isn’t about the damage, it’s about how they are now”…what on earth is that supposed to mean?! If there’s no damage, what are they complaining about?!
Well, it’s been more than a week and the first one stopped replying after I asked for photos (meaning it’s not actually damaged??) and the second also hasn’t replied since I asked for pictures, but I think they reported me to eBay because their first message to me actually said “Give me my money now I’m reporting you to ebay”.
I’ve experienced a lot of people being rude anonymously recently (Ben had some rude stuff written on his car in Morrisons because he was parked near the line, but so was the car that was there). I really hate especially how on the internet, people feel they can hide behind this persona they’ve created, and by doing this they feel they can do, say and get anything they want. These messages on eBay have really really upset me. I always try to be genuinely nice, even on the internet, but these people were outright rude. I actually cried when I read the second message. It honestly lessens my faith in humanity receiving things like this, and it worries me because I have never had an anonymous commenter on my blog, so I’m worried that if I ever do it will really really upset me. Honestly, those messages have been the only thing I’ve been thinking about recently, and it’s actually been distracting me from my work because I find it so upsetting that people can actually be like that to one another.
Cardigan: Topshop
White T-Shirt: H&M
Belt: Zara
Jeans: Primark
Floral Shoes: Peacocks
Sorry for my ranting there, it just really upsets me! Anyway, I’ll be back soon with pretty dress outfit photos as opposed to jeans!
your cardigan is so nice! i love that colour xxx
i’ve had some bad experiences on ebay too. its tough because like you said people can hide behind their computer.
That sounds quite horrible- it’s true that the internet gives such anonymity that people think nothing of typing horrible messages to others. These two sound totally out of order though! Maybe send a message to Ebay if they’ve reported you to set the record straight?
xx
those bloody jerks!!! how rude i can’t stand when people think they can say whatever they would like just because it is one the internet!! i am terribly sorry about ebay those two sound ridiculous i definitely agree if they reported you send a message to set the record straight. i hope that gets resolved soon though 🙂 and i love your cardigan the colour is so pretty
oh my gosh, some people clearly abuse the refund policy or whatever. you poor thing. i love this cardigan too xo
I have a hard time with jeans and a simple T too, not me at all! love your hair though, looks super 🙂
and yeah, people are ridiculously rude. i really prefer etsy for e-shopping, way nicer environment!
