I’ve been saving these photos for a while now because I wanted to do my
how to dye your hair ombre post before putting these up. I wasn’t sure if I would like this dress, but it was in Oxfam (one of the items I left and came back for), and when I first tried it on I thought it was a funny length and I still wasn’t too sure about it, but I thought I’d leave it a few days and see. But recently I’ve been feeling really girly and wanting to wear floaty, flowery, frilly, twirly dresses all the time, so I thought I’d wear this one the other day, and yes, I’ve now decided I love it. Not bad for a £5 dress from a charity shop!
I thought I’d do a few photos with and without the cardigan, because the dress is so pretty and I wanted to show the mesh bit at the top. Also I think the line where the top of the floral bit of the dress is is really pretty, not sure why, but it does!
I love how my hair came out in these photos. The blonde-y gingery-ness of it makes me feel really summery for some reason! I suppose it kind of looks lightened by the sun. I just hope it doesn’t go green or anything…! I’m going to Spain in about a month so I’ll be swimming there, and I’ve heard tales of green hair haha, let me know if you have any experience with this =)
Sorry about how picture heavy this post is! I was just happy with how well these photos came out. I’m hoping to get a proper camera for my birthday though, so I should get even better photos then. But that’s not until September though, oh well, you’ll just have to be patient with my attempts at photography with a cheap camera!
Also, my cardigan is kind of new. My grandma gave me, my sister, my mum and my aunt-to-be vouchers for a catalogue called Wool Overs. I’ve been really wanting a mustard cardigan for ages and this one was pretty and will be really nice over dresses for summer =)
Mustard Cardigan: Wool Overs (Christmas present)
Floral Dress: Charity Shop
Belt: Topshop
Purple Tights: Matalan
Floral Shoes: Peacocks
I’ve got my sister here for the weekend at the moment, we went to the Baltic this morning, and we’re going to the cinema this afternoon, so I’m off soon, so I’ll be back soon =) But finally, a good picture of the ombre-ness of my hair =) Oh and thank you for all the lovely comments on my last post about my hair!
