Sorry to have disappeared over the weekend! I went home again and didn’t have much time to blog, although I did manage to read a few =) I ended up doing looooads of work for uni on Saturday though which was really good because I’ve got myself slightly ahead, yay! I break up in 2 weeks now, so not long till Spain and sun =D And yesterday I went down to York to a Vintage Fair (yay again!) and saw a couple of friends briefly. I’ll be showing you what I bought soon!
Speaking of vintage, here’s the dress I bought the other week with Rosie and Fran in Newcastle! I think it’s technically Retro because I don’t think it’s authentic vintage, but it seems to be made on a vintage pattern. It looks a lot nicer without the cardigan, but not yet! It’s not quite warm enough for that =) In fact I’m actually wearing this dress again today, it’s so fun to wear! It has really nice shoulders too, I’ll definitely get some more pictures of it sometime I’m sure. I’ve put on my usual black waist belt with it too today, and I think I like it better with that. Looking at these pictures, it seems like it’s missing something, and I think it does need a belt.
You can probably tell I’m really excited by the sunshine we’re having now =) It’s actually warmed up too! I didn’t wear any tights for two whole days over the weekend, but it clouded over yesterday. I did get some funny looks on Friday walking through Newcastle with no tights, but I saw 3 other girls in just ankle socks (like me!) so I decided it’s ok. I’m thinking about going no tights today, but not sure yet =S

These are also new shoes (I know, I know, I should be saving!), but I really wanted them for Spain, I keep telling people they’re flatforms, because they’re not actually very heeled, the platform is almost flat! I was really wanting some summery sandally flatforms, but these are perfect!! Love them =)

I definitely agree on the desire to be bare-legged. I attempted it the other week but I was too cold just in my own home so I knew there was no way it could be done outside. Sigh, Canada, why must you be so cold?
