Evidently, I am back from Espana! (And I have apparently turned Spanish…not really…I can barely remember any of my GCSE Spanish!). Anyway, we had a lovely holiday =) We were lucky to have warm sunny weather all the time we were there, despite the fact that the whole week before we got there there had been storms, and the day we left it was chilly and cloudy. I took a lot of holiday snaps, as is usual when I go on holiday! And we each took a camera so there are even more to come! But I thought I’d give you here a few of the photos from the first few days from my camera, I’ll get more off the rest of my family later, you’ll be fed up of them soon, I promise!
So the photo above is the view from our apartment, the only problem was that horrid busy road (you obviously can’t tell from the photo, but it was VERY loud). And we had another pool out the back of the apartment which was in a nicer garden but wasn’t heated. Beth went in that one, I went about knee deep haha!
(Sorry about the funny light in that one haha!) Of course I remembered to do a few outfit shoots while I was away! So these are some from the first evening, we went out for an amazing meal, they brought these little canape things, one was pate with quince jelly, and the other was quail egg with pesto, and they were lovely! We meant to go back there, but we never had chance.
Blue Tie Front Cardigan: Rome
Floral Cross Back Dress: Primark

So we arrived on Saturday afternoon, and just went out for that meal. On the Sunday we wandered around Marbella’s old town which was very pretty. My mum and dad went there for there honeymoon, so I they were reminiscing about it =D

Denim Shorts: La Redoute
Gladiator Sandals: New Look

I find my holiday wardrobe is a very strange thing, because a lot of the clothes I wear on holiday during the daytime, mainly denim shorts and vest tops, are very old ones! The above top I bought in Italy when I was 15 (my goodness! I just had to ask my mum how old I was then, and she remembered it by saying it was when I was with my first boyfriend, crazy!!). The shorts I’m pretty sure are at least 6 years old, and the shoes are 4 years old. These sort of clothes don’t make many appearances though because I can only really wear them in Summer, which doesn’t happen much!
Camisole: New Look
High Waisted Denim Shorts: Topshop
Handbag: c/o Matalan
Gladiator Sandals: New Look
The above photos are from the
Alhambra in Granada. Beth and I had been with school when we were little, but it was pouring down that day so we didn’t really see it very much, but this day it was a lovely day, despite being a bit busy. The gardens are so pretty and there was a lovely view over the city (town?) of Granada.
And finally (of this post anyway), we went out for cocktails in a port (that took an hour and a half to find despite it being only 2 miles away!!). So above are the photos of that =)
Oh and a final THANK YOU to all my guest posters while I was away, you are all lovely girls =D
Love,
You look lovely Sian, and all tanned in the last one! Loving that Primark dress with the cross back! I’m off to Spain next week for a few days so hoping for similar weather 🙂 xx
Ahhh, so jealous! Spain looks lovely, you look lovely! I just have to say, and hopefully this isn’t weird, you have really nice legs! Those first pictures with the floral dress and black wedges, gorgeous!! :]] I’m so glad you had fun, you totally deserve it. But I’m glad to see you back – I missed your posts!

What a cute little family! You all look great. I actually kind of know what you mean…it’s odd–most of my shorts are at least five years old, and they’re all from the places I used to shop when I was a teen, like Abercrombie & Fitch (bleh!). I don’t get to wear them much because it never gets THAT warm here, so I never have an excuse to buy new ones…
Anyway, your vacation looks absolutely lovely. I can’t wait to see part 2! Thanks for taking pictures while you were away–we love to see them!
I can’t wait to see more photos! I’m glad you had a good time. And please, talk more about food if you can, food is lovely too hee.
You look lovely! and I’m so jealous you got to go to Spain!!
looks/sounds like a fab holiday, and i love the floral dress 🙂 x
all of these outfits are perfect: carefree, fussfree and pretty! 😀 I soooo want to go to spain too 🙁
