Yesterday morning was lovely and sunny, not really warm, but still kind of sunny, so my parents decided we would go for a walk to Brimham Rocks with the dog. The rocks are really fun to climb on, so despite the fact that I was coming down with a cold (that has most definitely hit me today), I got changed out of my usual attire of dress, cardigan, waist belt and over the knee socks, and into (shock! horror!) jeans!! Ben says he likes it when I wear jeans, so every so often I do, and he likes these ripped ones (see below) best, but I still just don’t feel quite me in them. So anyway, there I am in jeans and not even a floral or patterned top or something, just a plain navy blue t shirt from Primark, you will never see me normal looking, I came downstairs, it starts raining, and they announce we’re now going to Ormesby Hall near Middlesborough instead, and I had no time to change!! So I ended up going out in jeans and a plain top to somewhere I would usually be dressed up for, I felt so weird all day!!
It was still a lovely day anyway, even though it was raining and we got told off for having Lottie (the dog) on the wrong part of the grounds, but never mind! Also I’m apparently lazy (and I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to take photos inside), so I don’t actually have any photos of the actual house or the things inside, but instead I have crazy pictures of my family!
My dad and sister discovered a chess board in a reading room! (Then argued over who won!)
My sister and mother always seem to attract cats wherever they go!
I don’t even know…!
Striped Hoodie: J J Bean
T Shirt: Primark
Jeans: New Look
And finally, here’s me! Looking normal (and kind of weird!). I’m wearing my mum’s amazingly warm J J Bean hoodie thing that she bought when we were in New England, I wish I’d bought one because it is seriously SO warm, it’s lovely!! And my mum’s old socks (she cleaned out her underwear drawer the other day and thought I’d like them!!) with shoes that don’t match them haha!
Right then, I’m off to have a bath to clear my cold-filled head now =) Hopefully I’ll be back with a proper outfit post soon when I’m feeling better.
