Yesterday morning was lovely and sunny, not really warm, but still kind of sunny, so my parents decided we would go for a walk to Brimham Rocks with the dog. The rocks are really fun to climb on, so despite the fact that I was coming down with a cold (that has most definitely hit me today), I got changed out of my usual attire of dress, cardigan, waist belt and over the knee socks, and into (shock! horror!) jeans!! Ben says he likes it when I wear jeans, so every so often I do, and he likes these ripped ones (see below) best, but I still just don’t feel quite me in them. So anyway, there I am in jeans and not even a floral or patterned top or something, just a plain navy blue t shirt from Primark, you will never see me normal looking, I came downstairs, it starts raining, and they announce we’re now going to Ormesby Hall near Middlesborough instead, and I had no time to change!! So I ended up going out in jeans and a plain top to somewhere I would usually be dressed up for, I felt so weird all day!!
My sister and mother always seem to attract cats wherever they go!
And finally, here’s me! Looking normal (and kind of weird!). I’m wearing my mum’s amazingly warm J J Bean hoodie thing that she bought when we were in New England, I wish I’d bought one because it is seriously SO warm, it’s lovely!! And my mum’s old socks (she cleaned out her underwear drawer the other day and thought I’d like them!!) with shoes that don’t match them haha!
Right then, I’m off to have a bath to clear my cold-filled head now =) Hopefully I’ll be back with a proper outfit post soon when I’m feeling better.
Your family looks amazingly goofy and fun! I’m right there with you on the jeans thing…. I almost NEVER wear them. I just can’t find a pair that fit well.

i think you still look cute =) everyone needs some ripped jeans! (unfortunately mine are 5 years old and now a size too small)
on the other hand, dorothy perkins has £15 jeans and they are pretty amazing 😉
Hope you get over your cold soon! I would probably have insisted everybody wait for me to change outfits again hah. I shall imagine you were differently dressed.
oh! sorry your not feeling well! Hope you feel better soon. You are completely absolved of putting together outfits when unwell. I’m pretty sure its a law.
