Thought I’d do something a little different while I’m away: outtakes! When you’re a personal style blogger, you end up taking a lot of photos of yourself, obviously. Some turn out great, some…well, just not so great. And that’s what you’re going to see here: the real Sian who is actually terribly unphotogenic!! I’ve learnt over the past years how to pull faces and stand in poses that are at least acceptable to normal society (the fashion world, I’m not so sure about though!!), and these are the ones that are, well, not really acceptable for a fashion blog! These outfits range in time from February, right up until now, so enjoy!!

I hope I haven’t terrified you all too much with these! Just got to tell you a brilliant story: just as I was making this post, I got a comment on a picture on Flickr, it turned out to be the second last photo (the pointing + rust skirt picture) and the person said: ‘beautiful model’. Yes, the only time I’ve ever been told I am a ‘beautiful model’ it was on my outtakes photos!! I just thought it was hilarious!!

Haha this is so funny! I always have like 50 bad photos and about 4 good ones. I even discovered strange faces and poses, I have no idea how I do it. It’s a talent! 🙂

Oh the self-timer run-and-sit, a challenge for sure. Always worse when you’re in heels and trying to sit somewhere uneven… The as-you-jump photo is hilarious, I’ve caught some pretty crazy ones of myself jumping too… none ever make the cut.
I got a random comment on one of my Flickr photos the other day, telling me I was beautiful and had nice eyes, along those lines… and it was on a less-than-great photo. Why don’t these people look at our good shots?
Hahaha! This is great. I found some of my outtakes for a forum post on Lookbook a while back, but I may have to scour my shots again and do a blogpost of them.
