Just a quick post today! I just wanted to show you how I’ve been wearing my hair every so often nowadays since my fringe is too long if I haven’t dried it properly with a hairdryer and roller hair brush, but too short still to be just pushed to the side. I’m still deciding on whether to grow it out completely or not =S So this is quite a good compromise really!
Plaited Fringe
It actually took me a while to perfect this plait (actually it’s still not quite perfected!), but I quite like wearing it now. It feels a bit funny at first though because I’ve been so used to having my fringe over my forehead for so long!! Also, I’ve been wearing glasses today, as you can see =) I think I got a chip in my contact lense, or maybe just it got a bit irritated yesterday, so I thought I’d have a day off wearing them, so the glasses had to come out. I do quite like these glasses, my old rectangle ones didn’t really suit me as well as these bigger ones, or at least I think so!
I’ve been shopping today =D But it was a pretty awesome shopping day considering I got, gosh, at least 8 items of clothing and only paid £10!! Plus loads of shampoo, sun cream, face wipes, all sorts of things like that, and still…only £10. Yeh, my parents paid for it haha =) I’m preparing all my stuff for Greece!! Have I mentioned Greece yet?? I’m going on the 21st August for 3 weeks on an Undergraduate Greek trip to the British School at Athens with a load of people I’ve never met before. We get access to archaeological sites that the public don’t even get to see! Pretty awesome really! But it means I need sensible clothes…something that I lack, therefore shopping was necessary. Despite it mainly being sensible clothing, I actually really like a lot of it, especially some of the shorts. The shoes on the other hand, not so much, but they’ll do I suppose! Anyway, because it’s my 21st birthday present that my parents are paying for the trip, they decided to buy my clothes for it too =D And because we went to the Designer Outlet at York I got some awesome bargains, including some GAP shorts for £3.69 when they were originally about £25 I think =D

I like braiding my bangs like that, but my hair is so damned long and I am such a bad hair-doer that it can take me forever, otherwise I’d do it more often. Definitely suits you though, and I suggest growing out the bangs! Once the process is done, it’s wonderful.
