I’ve had a pretty awful couple of days with the cystitis I ranted mentioned in my last post, but it seems to be fading now – luckily because it’s the weekend, I’ve finished the 48 hour course of sachets and I really don’t want to go the doctor. Since it’s the weekend it would mean going to the emergency doctor at the A&E department just to get some antibiotics, which is just a hassle really!!
This skirt was a gift from my cousin Aimee; I offered her my cord skirt about a year ago and we were going to swap some items of clothes. Unfortunately I’ve been useless (or possibly my mother has!) and I’ve put it somewhere in a bag and can’t remember where that is! But Aimee sent me this one over anyway. It’s a little bit different from skirts I usually wear in that it’s not high waisted, although I used to wear similar ones a few years ago, so it was refreshing to try something different. I didn’t exactly style it very creatively, just throwing a long sleeved grey top on with it, but sometimes I like to dress a little simply. The over the knee socks were a Christmas present from my parents, and they’re really good in that they’re one of the only pairs of over the knee socks that I own that actually stay up! Most of them end up rolled down under my knees after 20 minutes!!

Right, now I have a question for any Canon Rebel users out there: I have a Canon Rebel T3 (EOS 1100D) that was working perfectly up until about a week ago when it suddenly started putting funny lines of colour across my photos, then it stopped doing that and just massively washed my photos out. I’ve tried playing with the White Balance and ISO, but no good. The photos have also suddenly gone really bad quality (don’t zoom on my photos!!). I’ve managed to edit these to usable quality with a lot of help from the Saturation tool, but I’m really worried. Has anyone else experienced this and knows what to do?? Or have a just pushed a button that’s made it go like this?! I’ve emailed Canon and I’m waiting on a reply – the problem is I bought it in Florida and that’s a bit of a problem if I need to return it there!! (Although I don’t mind an excuse to return!!). So any ideas anyone??
Oh no that doesn’t sound good! I used to have an old canon powershot that started printing coloured lines across photos, then it started bleaching everything pink and stretched compositions crazily. It was 5 years old though and I got a new camera for my birthday. Hope yours can be fixed, it really shouldn’t be doing that if it’s new.
Glad your cystitis is clearing up, you seem to be having rotten luck at the moment 🙁
I love the socks matched with that skirt. I hope you feel better soon.
That is one trippy skirt, talk about wicked print! I find the only time my over-the-knee socks actually stay up, is if I’m wearing tights underneath them. Gives them something to grip to better than skin, I guess.
