It’s been a little while again since my last outfit post, for a few reasons: firstly because I’m desperately trying to write two essays that my head desperately does not want to write. It’s not a case of I don’t know what to write, it’s that I’ve got far too much I want to write, that’s always my problem with word limits!! I’ve got like 12 pages of notes to condense into 1,200 words, and it’s just not happening. I always have this problem that when I’m given an hour to write an essay, it will be an awesome essay and I’ll get better marks; if I’m given weeks to write it, I think about it too much and it just doesn’t feel as good – possible solution: leave it till last minute then whack it out?! Don’t think so… Anyway, second reason I’m useless with my outfit posts at the moment is still my camera, just not even going to go there, I don’t want to think about it. Third, all I keep wanting to wear is my tartan skirt but I’m trying to save up outfits for it because I wore it in my last outfit post haha =D Oh the difficulties of outfit posting!!
I got my mum to take these photos for me today – she just kept laughing at me and calling me ‘Poser’ though!! Anyway, onto the outfit. The skirt is actually a maxi dress that I’ve worn before here and here – I’d been thinking about wearing it a skirt for some time, but finally remembered today! I just wish I’d remembered to bring my belts home, I’m sure it would have looked better with a belt, but I’m going back up to Newcastle this weekend so I’ll be reunited with them then and a whole world of outfits will be opened up to me (I hope!)
Feather Clip: eBay (here)
Black Top: Primark
Maxi Dress (worn as a skirt): H&M
Flats: Primark
I decided to try something different with my hair again today – this is an attempt at a crown braid, but it doesn’t stand out too well against my hair. Despite that I actually quite liked how it turned out! It’s pinned on the other side with a new clip I got from eBay (before the shopping ban!!) that has feathers on it – I wanted it for summer really but couldn’t wait to wear it!!
amazing skirt, you look stunning!
I love the striped maxi skirt, it’s so pretty! I don’t think I could ever pull it off, but it looks great on you

Err, when I was studying I always left me essays til the last minute, and I would rock up at the Robinson Library at 8am shaking with panic… not a good look.

I really love what you did with your hair, the bread and the feather clip are wonderful. I’ve got one myself but I always feel weird with it bouncing around on my shoulder.
