Look, I’m outside again!! To be honest with you all, I have had my tripod for the last week now, but not my camera, and though it fits onto it, I felt a little silly putting a teeny tiny camera on top of a massive tripod!! And I’ve also been a bit wary about doing outdoor photos since a man laughed hysterically at me – but hey, I thought it’s my choice whether I want to look silly taking outdoor photos or not, plus it’s a super warm day (15*c apparently!! It was -5*c just like 3 days ago!!), so I decided to buck up and go do them, and I did =) And they look much better, do not let me do indoor photos ever again. Now just to get my camera back!!
I think two things I’m wearing here are going to be my favourite Spring pieces – my pink jacket and this blouse. I just can’t stop wearing this jacket!! I put it on with everything and I’m like, I should really take a break from it!! But I just love the shade of it and the shape, and the fact that it goes with pretty much anything. Plus it is amazing quality, and it’s from Primark!! The blouse is new, I ordered it from ASOS a couple of weeks ago, it took forever to arrive then the day it did it dropped on the site by 20%, I’m so annoyed about that!! But I still love it anyway. This outfit is kind of inspired by this picture of Alexa Chung. I did try this outfit with a ribbon (a pink one!) but it didn’t quite work right so I took it off. I actually tried out another variation of the outfit yesterday that stuck more to the picture inspiration because it had a grey cardigan, but I wore it with my burgundy AA skirt (see it here) which looked pretty good too, but I’d have liked some patches on the cardigan like Alexa’s!!

I’ve noticed a change in my style recently, and I was talking about it to Charlotte because she says she’s the same – I’m definitely wearing more ‘put together’ outfits, if that makes sense!! Smarter and preppier, I suppose. As Charlotte put it, job interview chic, and I think that’s definitely right. I’ve been drawn towards blazers, blouses, fitted dresses and tailored skirts recently. Charlotte and I both went to Catholic School, so she blames her tendency towards these sort of clothes on that, but I think it’s the other way round for me!! I had an aversion to things like shirts, blouses and jackets for years because it’s what I had to wear every single day for 15 years of my life, so I went for other things like pretty dresses and cardigans. But recently I’ve started to experiment a bit more, and I think I want to look a bit more grown up, and I’ve been wearing more of these things. But I think my style’s going to change again in summer! After the ladylike pastel outfits of Spring, I’m planning on lots of denim shorts, bold prints and festival type attire for Summer =D But of course, I’ll still be in my sundresses too!

Gah, green grass! It’s snowing here right now. That pink jacket is lovely, it really suits you. Honestly, don’t give a second thought to any bozos who make fun of you for taking outfit photos. I’ve been rubbernecked by parks FULL of people as I took photos, cyclists, joggers, elderly couples taking their sweet time walking by me… People who tease and try to belittle others are usually the most insecure of us all.
Love the flow of color. The cut on the jacket is amazing and you wear the jean well!
I love that blazer! I can see why you want to wear it with everything. I’ve noticed a change in your style too — you and Charlotte both actually. :] It’s fun to see the ways we all grow with style and life. I’ve always been kind of preppy (I went to Catholic school too, but didn’t have a uniform in high school at all) but I’ve noticed myself being more comfortable with colors lately. However I do just feel best in a pretty dress, haha. :]

I love that jacket so much! I saw it in Primark the other day, but I already have a nude/pink leather jacket that I really need to wear more! I am very inspired though!
I meant to tell you a few weeks ago to try your little camera with a tripod! I used to do that all the time before I got my DSLR!
I was again, job interview chic today. I just tend towards blazers and shirts now. Are those your leigh jeans? They look so fab! I love mine so much!
