We were in the supermarket the other day and Ben decided to buy me some flowers, yay! So they’re sat on our table with our Mickey from Florida.
Yet again, I have succumbed to Sianness and fallen ill – this time just seems to be some sort of allergic reaction with a horrible itchy red rash on my face and a red sore throat. It started yesterday and seems to have gone down a lot today, but is now all dry and horrible – looks like no make up for a few days! I really wanted to do an outfit post yesterday because…
…my Modcloth Cabin Fever sale parcel finally arrived!! Unfortunately I had to pay customs charges, which I didn’t have to last time, but when I got 4 items in the sale all for under £10 each, I wasn’t too bothered!! I wore one of the dresses (I got 2 dresses) yesterday, so I really wanted to take photos, but the rash on the my face would probably have terrified you!! But today since it’s less red, I thought it would be okay to take photos of the T shirt and shorts I got. They’re both actually a little big, despite ordering an S in each, I know the T shirt is supposed to be oversized, but the shorts should be a little tighter in my opinion.
And look, we’ve reverted to indoor photos =( First my quality is down the drain because of lack of DSLR, and now they’re inside..my face couldn’t cope with the freezing wind, plus I didn’t want to put shoes on haha!! I’ve also randomly got some pictures of food to share: we had fajitas the other night, so I made some salsa and guacamole to go along with them:
Hmmm, they don’t look so appetising close up do they?! If anyone wants any recipes, these are pretty my own I made up on the spot, so let me know and I’ll post them. We actually had turkey fajitas for a change, and it worked really well – the turkey was a lot cheaper and leaner than chicken, despite the tantrum I had about not wanting to change from chicken!!
Now I will be back soon with proper outfit photos (although not with my own camera for a while still, haven’t had a reply from Canon for a week..), but they will be proper outfits and outdoor photos, promise!! And I’ll be wearing make up them too haha =D Oh and notice my necklace, how awesome is it?! Harry Potter glasses with an attached lightning scar!! My sister got it for me for Christmas =) I’m trying to wear different jewellery at the moment, but it’s difficult to wear longer necklaces under the scarves I wear all the time in winter haha =D

And a final note on the shopping ban: it’s still going well!! I haven’t set foot in a single clothes shop despite being in Newcastle for a week! Again I’ve found it tough with websites popping up on blogs, email and Facebook and I’ve strayed onto a few, but not bought anything. I wouldn’t have needed to really spend anything (apart from food obviously!) this week, if I didn’t have to buy new books for uni. Fortunately it’s only been £20 so far, and I think it’ll only be another £10 on top of that, so not as bad as some terms, once I had one book that cost £60 – my parents ended up getting me it for my birthday haha!! So yes, all’s going well =) (But I want to go shopping!!)
