SS12

Clearly I’ve been doing too much note taking for my dissertation recently. When coming across references to SS12 on blogs and in magazines, I’ve for some reason had this urge to take notes about the upcoming trends and my spin on them! So I finally gave in and decided to just do what my head wanted to, and write notes on SS12 =D So here are my ‘notes’ (with little pictures included!!) on what I’m looking forward to this Spring and Summer. I know feel like I need to buy everything in pastels, particularly a blazer in mint green, cardigans, full skirts, Peter Pan collar blouses and, bizarrely, a parasol, because I am just that cool.

I’m trying really hard not to think about next season. I had a good run where I got lucky, and things in style just happened to coincide with my pre-existing tastes, but now I think the fashion world is a movin’ on and I’m getting left behind again. A lot of the lookbooks I’m seeing are just not thrilling me… or they make me angry (navaho print anything arrrgh). But I’ll be happy when looking like a hippie isn’t popular anymore so I don’t look like a conformist :p

Things people do to avoid studying/writing/revising. My whole flat was SPOTLESS and even the smallest spoon had to be cleaned instantly before the exams. 🙂 X

Very cool. What a great idea to make note of how YOU want to interpret the coming trends. I should do that.

I’m definitely most excited about the pastels. I’m a bit of a pastel-loving freak. I just ordered a minty pair of jeans from Urban and I’m fantasizing about them all day long!
