I thought I’d better give you a proper update with photos at some point, so I’m squeezing in a quick post now!! This last weekend I went to Durham with my mum and sister for my soon-to-be aunty’s Hen Weekend. We spent the afternoon in the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room, then in the evening we had a meal at Zizzi’s then went out to a few bars for drinks! It was a lovely night, although despite the fact I drank barely nothing, I felt awful the next day – I’ve just been working so solidly recently, then I did this and I think it was too much for my body!! I ended up going to bed at 9pm on Sunday night, but taking that time out of studying on Saturday and Sunday meant a lot of catching up yesterday, so I was up till 2am again last night just trying to get caught up. In the past when I’ve stayed up late doing work it’s because I’ve left things too late and had to do them at last minute, but now it’s almost every night I’m up till past midnight working, and I’m still not managing to get my dissertation work fitted in. So basically, blogging isn’t going to happen again after this until probably the end of next week when I break up for Easter (although hopefully I’ll have my camera back before then, so I might sneak in a post!!).
Anyway, so I didn’t manage to get any full outfit photos, but as you can probably see, I wore my absolute favourite New Look daisy print dress, my pink Primark jacket, Primark necklace and some new flatforms I got from New Look with my voucher, plus the ‘beehive’ on my head that I knocked up in about 3 minutes, hence the not so much working, but never mind!! You’ll probably see the flatforms soon, they’re not completely flat, they slope a little, but they’re flat enough, but they’re a little bit big which is annoying, I ended up stuffing them with tissues to make them stay on my feet!! And finally I tried out some false nails for the first time too – these were £4.99 from New Look (got them on my voucher too) and they were actually pretty good!! I lost a couple after swimming while rushing to get ready, which is understandable because I was digging around my bag etc, but I stuck them back on and they lasted all night and until yesterday (Monday) when I decided it was impossible to get on with my translations when I couldn’t flick through my dictionaries, so I pulled them off!! I know I shouldn’t have done that, but I had no nail varnish remover to get them off, so oops!! But I’ll definitely try them again, I really liked wearing them =)
Aww looks like you had a fab time. Is that the seating in Fat Buddha I spy on the second of last photo? Thats my second home lol xx
Congrats!! The pictures look great, looks like a fun time! 🙂 x
Hen do’s are SO much fun! I was at one the weekend before up in Glasgow 🙂 Love the colour of the nails by the way 🙂

Looks like you had lots of fun 🙂 Love the floral dress!
Sounds like a fun time! Sorry to hear you’re so busy, but at least it’s all relatively good things keeping you working. I hope you find the time to make some you-time in the day and relax at least a little though, you deserve that 🙂
Love the dress and nails. The color is so pretty!
