Marc Jacobs

Finally I get to present to you my new dress from Oasap, isn’t it just amazing?! I know it’s a very summery dress and it’s kind of still Spring, but it was really sunny yesterday, so I just had to wear it!! Don’t worry, I’ve got tights underneath 😉 I didn’t realize when I ordered it from Oasap, but isn’t it an almost exact dupe of the Marc Jacobs Simone dress that Michelle Obama wore?! I was thinking about pretending to you all that it was the Marc Jacobs one, but I just couldn’t lie to you =D But I’m really excited for my summer holidays and wearing it now, it’s such summery colours and really light and floaty, so perfect!!

So this is what I wore yesterday, and today I’m slaving away over my dissertation again, distracted by Twitter (oops) and the kitten. Next week my parents are away so I’m looking after the dog, cat and kitten by myself (until Ben’s home from work at least!), so I’ve got to get used to it – I’ll have to walk the dog twice a day and feed them all and stop the kitten from trying to eat the fish and destroy the house all while trying to get my work done!!
I’m going with a couple of friends from home to see The Hunger Games next week and I’m super excited!! I’ve been waiting and waiting to see the film, and I’m so happy I have someone to go with, since Ben isn’t good with films, he gets bored half way through, and my sister is away. I’m just hoping the film will be as good as the book.

Cardigan: Zara
Dress: c/o Oasap
Belt: Forever 21
Rings: H&M (and Christmas present from Ben)
Watch: Rotary (21st birthday present from Ben)
Shoes: New Look
The dress from Oasap actually came with a belt a bit like the Marc Jacobs’ one, but thinner, but for some reason I felt it didn’t look right with the dress, so I decided to try my red belt over the top, and I like that much better. I can’t wait to wear this dress without the cardigan though, it just needs to be shown off, not covered up!! Don’t forget to take a look at the Oasap website, this dress was only $37 and there’s loads more of bargains over there!!
Right, it’s back to the dissertation now – update on camera: they finished fixing it this morning, but when I phoned they’d just realized the video function wasn’t working. Why they didn’t check this before carrying out the repairs, I don’t know, but hopefully it shouldn’t take too long to do this bit. I’m so impatient to get it back before the weekend because I’m meeting up with a few local bloggers (very excited!!) so I was hoping to get some good pictures with it!!

I have to agree with just about everyone else, the dress is beautiful! I love the bright colors and it’s such a close match to the Marc Jacobs dress. Pairing it with the red shoes and belt was a great touch. Bright colors are so perfect as the weather starts to get warmer. Have a wonderful week!

I’m still so jealous about this dress! LOL. i absolutely love marc jacobs’ designs and when I saw this dress for the first time last year, I was in love. I’m sad OASAP is sold out of them. I would have bought one in a heart beat! You look amazing in it though. And I like the belt you paired with it. Thanks so much for visiting and commenting on my blog! <3
