These are the shorts that Ben bought me by Glamorous at Triple S this weekend at the same as the dress I posted about previously. There’s a bit of a love/hate relationship with flag print items at the moment – I’ve seen loads of people wearing American flag print shorts and not really been bothered about them, and loooads of Union Jack print things (because of the Olympics and the Jubilee I’m guessing – everything is London themed right now!), and that really hasn’t taken my fancy. But as I mentioned before, I’ve been finding it hard to find some nice shorts. I’ve had my old denim shorts since I was about 14, and those are at home at the moment anyway, and I wanted some that were slightly high waisted and a bit vintage-y looking, and when I tried these on, they were the perfect shape I’d been looking for – not too high waisted so that they’re not too warm, but not low cut. Admittedly they are a little short – I sized up hoping they might be a little longer, but apparently that’s just how shorts are made nowadays! I paired them with this peach Primark blouse I bought when shopping with my friends a couple of weeks ago. Thought it would be another good teaching item of clothing, of course with a top underneath, it’s a bit sheer!! And of course with my trusty Primark sunglasses and shoes – I’m such a cheapskate sometimes!! I’m loving the collar on the blouse though and can’t wait to wear it with some different things =)
Sunglasses: Primark
Lipstick: No. 7 Coral
Lace Bandeau (just seen): Urban Outfitters
Blouse: Primark (similar here)
Shorts: Glamorous (similar here and here)
Flats: Primark
Another different hair style today – I’m going crazy right now aren’t I?! I really need to have my hair up in this weather though, as I’ve said before, and I’m getting bored of just dragging it up into buns! I had my penultimate exam this morning, so I’m just having a little blogging lunch break right now then back on to revision for my final exam on Wednesday!! I’m so excited that I’ll be finished soon!!
I’ve already changed my outfit once today – I was wearing my bird print dress because I just threw it on to rush off to my exam this morning, but I’m in a different outfit now and will hopefully be able to get some photos done =) Going outside to do revision anyway so I think I’ll just take my camera and tripod with me. Also, thank you everyone for all your sweet comments lately – I’ve been super busy (as you know!) so haven’t been able to reply or comment back, but once I’m finished I’ll do my absolute best to take a look at all your blogs =) And I realised I hit 350 followers on GFC recently, so thank you so much for that, crazy!!
Don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a free pair of shoes here!!

love the shorts and the collar of the shirt 🙂
You look amazing in denim shorts!
These shorts would look fab at a festival. I’ve noticed that most high street shorts are getting shorter by the year but if you have the legs for them then why not? I need to brave wearing the baby pink hotpants I bought today soon! x
The shorts look so good on you! Love them with the Primart top – very summery look 🙂 your sunnies are cutex too! xx
