This is a pretty different outfit to the ones I usually blog, I’ve got to say. But entirely appropriate for today! That weather I mentioned yesterday? Yeh, it got hotter. And I LOVE it, but what I don’t love is the fact that I took all my suncream home when we started packing up the flat a couple of weeks ago thinking it would never get hot enough to need it in the next few weeks. Well, it is hot enough now. I spent about an hour and a half in the sun working in the graveyard, but I could feel myself starting to burn, so here I am back inside looking out at the sun and warmth =( But it’s sooo beautiful!!
So yeh, very different outfit to my usual dresses and whatnot, although this is the sort of thing I wear in the summer heat, just I don’t tend to blog about it. I’ve been planning lots of denim short, baggy vest top outfits for this summer – I’m going away twice: to Turkey in about a month, and Canada/America in August, so I’ll need more summery outfits for those. I got this top off eBay about a week ago after seeing cross tops everywhere – I love the drop arms of it for summer wear. It’s weird because in autumn/winter/spring I want to look smarter, in summer I just want to look slouchy haha!! Also the cross is in galaxy print, so that’s pretty awesome!

Headscarf: Vintage
Top: eBay (similar here)
Bandeau Top: Bershka
Denim Shorts: Topshop (similar here)
Flats: Primark (similar here)
Obviously the ground is very interesting in these photos…
Anyway, the shoes are new – yay!! Only £6 from Primark!! I saw them on someone’s blog (cannot remember for the life of me whose it was!), and just had to have them. I’m pretty sure they had them in other colours too, but I just had to have the bright coral ones of course! I love the peep toe, I’d been really wanting some for a while so it was perfect! Another thing that I think I’ll be wearing for teaching =D
Also what do you think of my hair?! I love wearing it up every so often, but I’m not very good at it, but I tried the ‘sock bun’ a few months ago, and it actually worked, and worked well!! In summer I have to wear my hair up because it’s so thick and long it’s like wearing a scarf, but in winter I get freezing with it down, so this was my chance to play around with wearing it up. I added the head scarf for a more vintagey look and I think I quite like it!
So glad to have a little less stress now, just three exams left and quite a bit of time to revise for them, so I’m feeling a lot more relaxed. I’ve even had time to do outfit photos and plan out some other posts, although I’ll have to be getting back to revision soon. I still have the wedding photos to edit too!

Oooh I love your hair Sian! And your outfit is so summery, you look great! I also have that bandeau top btw, but I didn’t tried it on in the store so when I wanted to wear it at home it was too small 🙁 I sometimes use it as a hairband now, haha 😀 Good luck with your exams! xx

Your hairdo looks so cool with that vintage scarf. You should try it more often, it looks great on you 🙂
And I love that floral top peeking out 🙂

This outfit is totally different from the usual stuff you share with us but I really like it! Besides, who wants to be wearing a dress and cardigan in this weather (I’m seriously considering just going out a lying in a bikini it is so warm up here!)

You look great with your hair up, very elegant. Whenever the weather is like this I just want to cut all my hair off, it’s far too warm to have it down, but then I remember what a great scarf it makes in winter, and that winter lasts 9 months round here and change my mind xo

Love this outfit and the hair so much; please do a headscarf tutorial, anytime I try to do anything with a scarf in my hair it instantly falls out…drives me insane!
I have those shoes from primark too (in black) beware of the curse of the centre studs they rubbed like a wotsit after a while!
Keep on enjoying the sun, I know I will 🙂

Lookin’ lovely, Sian!! Your legs are so nice!! This is pretty much what I wear when I’m not blogging outfits too (although, switch shorts with plain jeans). :]

Oh! Where in Canada will you be going? Not Ottawa or Montreal by any chance? I live in Ottawa and it’d be crazy fun if we could meet, but Canada is pretty darn huge so I’d be surprised if you came nearby haha. Love that floral purse, and the pop of colour from your bralette thing under the shirt!
