Man Style

Hey everyone! You all know I’m pretty busy at the moment, so I decided to do something different to make up for my lack of blogging recently and get Ben to do a post for you!! I actually managed to get a little bit of free time today so I got Ben to take some photos of my outfit for me, then decided to take some of him. Usually he just wears jeans and polo shirts, but he ordered these chinos recently and he looks a lot smarter in them!! So here he is:

Hello everyone, this is Ben, Sian’s long-suffering boyfriend. Sian forced me to have these pictures taken, I tried not to pose stupidly like she does. Sian is my new stylist now – this is her selection of clothes! I bought a ‘shumper’ from George at ASDA (that’s a shirt/jumper for those of you who might not know) because Sian’s ‘stylish’ dad has one. The chinos are from Matalan, because they’ve been so lovely to Sian and I was hoping they might send me some clothes too (Sian’s input: Cheeky!!). They’re actually good quality and very soft cotton (I think they’re cotton..) and very good for Summer. Sian and I have also baked some cookies today, the recipe will follow later this week. Hairy Bikers’ lamb vindaloo for tea and we may even blog about that too if it’s good enough. I have to go now because there is a lovely dog in the graveyard
And well done to Miss Thomas for getting a teacher job.
Fin.

Just a final note from Sian now: I hope you enjoyed that post…Sorry for Ben being a little odd. Just wanted to tell you that all the cheeky things he said do not reflect my views (Matalan does not have to send him clothes!!)

Ah this is so awesome! Hi Ben! I said hi to you once through Sian when she was on the phone to you, and I am that strange girl Sian wants to move in with you both haha.
I really love this outfit, and ‘shumper’ is definitely a new word for my vocabulary!

Haha this is so funny! I guess all boyfriends make fun of our blogs and posing skills! 😀 I actually took some photos of my boyfriend’s outfit too last week, maybe I could let him blog about it? 😀

Don’t you Fashion Bloggers try to steal all my best ideas – ‘SHUMPER’ was my creation. I first discovered this when combining an old gardening shirt with a few holes in the sleeves and in the general belly area (you know the one Sian) with my old school jumper that still seemed to fit me quite well. By clever use of a stapler and my stanley knife I created this new fashion statement at very little cost. Not only does it save money, but also time – I no longer have to worry about what shirt matches with which jumper (although in fairness this was never of any real concern). I know cost is of great concern to all of you students out there as you don’t like to scrounge off your Dads for new frocks every week and new shoes every second week.
I have quite a few other good ideas on how to save you money, but don’t want to give away all my best ideas at once – one for you to think about – need a new pair of Crocs, but think you can’t afford them, think again – why not check out that old pair of wellies you Dad didn,t want to throw away bacause he knew they would come in handy one day – a pair of scissors and some old paint from the back of his shed and a bit of imagination – Bang……. another 20 quid saved!!!!
If you want some more hany tips, just ask Sian – I know she is quite keen an me adding a few fashion tips to he Blog – Maybe Ben and I will start our own Bloggy thingy – as you can probably tell, we are not short on ideas.
