It looks like you all enjoyed Ben’s post then!! Can you believe he actually got into the Chictopia Style Gallery, and got more votes and favourites than I’ve ever got on a picture?! All the ‘fame’ has gone to his head so now if I say anything about my blog, it’s all down to his post XD Cheeky little so and so!!
Anyway, this is what I was wearing on the day we did his photos. We actually took a trip into town that day since it was our last chance to be properly in Newcastle together before I finish!! Only 2 and a half weeks to go…17 days and I’ll be done. 3 weeks and we’ll be moved out. After 3 years of me living here, and 6 years of Ben living here. It’s quite sad when you think about it like that!! But we’ve got to leave at some point!!
Top: Matalan (similar here)
Belt: Zara
Skirt: c/o Lavish Alice (similar here)
Shoes: Primark (similar here)
I was sent this skirt by the lovely people at Lavish Alice. Unfortunately it’s a little bit big, it’s a UK size 10, and my waist really needs an 8, so I have a few problems with keeping it in the right place, but I love the sorbet shade of it – there I go with my pastel obsession again!! It is a very different colour to how it appears on the website however, but I still really like it =D
And of course I had to wear pastel pink with it as I do with every mint coloured item I own, so out came the Matalan peplum top!! I am so in love with peplums right now!! I bought another one when shopping on the day I wore this outfit from Internacionale, and in fact I’ve already worn it and got Ben to take pictures of me in it!! All I need now is a peplum skirt, I’ve seen loads that I love on the internet but I think I’d like to try one on before committing to buy it! I am meeting up with a friend on Wednesday for lunch as a final Newcastle lunch meeting and we’re planning to go on a final Newcastle shopping trip then (well, at least to Primark, but I might persuade her to pop into a few other shops with me!! Fran, hope you’re reading this XD). So I’ll be on the lookout for peplums then =D I also want some good shoes for teaching (eek!) and a some nice tops for holiday, only a month until I go to Turkey now.
Right, better get back to the revision – I was pretty pleased I managed to learn 200 lines of Aristophanes’ Frogs in Ancient Greek in the bath today, so maybe another 200 lines this afternoon/evening and I’ll be halfway prepared for my first exam!!
I love your top, its so cute. Lovely pastel colours- very on trend. You look lovely.
I love this outfit so much! I’ve been lusting after that mint bandage skirt for a while. I wish you’d told me before you got it because I need an 8 in LA too!
I love that I have this top in lilac too. We are such twins. Well, that and the fact I totally copied you!
I finish my degree on Tuesday and I am freaking out so much! It’s gonna be so weird!
