Girl Next Door Fashion: Dress Remix

I’m sure most of you know Charlotte of Girl Next Door Fashion after my multiple posts featuring her and my recent post over at her blog, but if you don’t, make sure you pop over and say hi to her on her blog =D

Hi Rebel Angel readers! I was absolutely stumped when Sian asked me to post for her while she’s away sunning herself in Turkey! I was kinda stumped on what to write about- I’ve just moved to New Jersey for the summer and I’m working every day (and you guys don’t want to see photos of my lifeguarding uniform!) so I thought I’d bring you a little remix post!
A few days before the jubilee weekend, I splashed out on a dress. I always try to buy pieces with maximum remixability (is that a word?!) and I tend to buy things that I think will fit in well with my wardrobe. I rarely buy dresses for this reason- I find them infinitely more difficult to remix. Anyway, I spent £30 on a dress in River Island to wear over the jubilee weekend, and I was smitten with it. The dress has a British theme- printed with telephone boxes, big ben and black cabs. Perfect for the jubilee! But I also felt a little guilty. So I made it my aim to wear the dress every single day of the bank holiday weekend (Saturday-Tuesday), in a variety of different ways. Here’s what I came up with!

Top Row (l-r) Day One, Day Two
Bottom Row (l-r) Day Three, Day Four

When I checked my weather app on Saturday I saw it was going to be the nicest day of the weekend, so I went for a really summery look with a denim jacket, wedges and big bouncy curls. Sunday was rainy and cold so I layered up with my favourite beige jumper, leather jacket, tights and boots. On Monday we had family friends over so I wanted my outfit to be cute but classy, so I went for a pretty red cardigan and red flats. Perfect to look presentable but still fun. By Tuesday, I was getting a little fed up of the dress so I went for a super-casual look with navy tights, pumps and a navy cardigan.
How would you remix this dress?
Thanks so much for Sian for letting me post here, I hope you come visit me over at girl next door fashion!

I already commented on this dress on your blog, Charlotte, but I really love that dress and I like how you remixed it! The first one is my favourite 🙂 x

That dress is sooo cute! I really like all of the different ways you wore it. I can’t decide which is my favorite.
