Okay, so maybe a went a little over the top with the Jubilee theme in this outfit – I’d planned to get hold of something that was ‘British’ print, or at least had a Union Jack on it, but never managed to. I had a look in Primark on the last Friday I was in Newcastle but everything was either just too tacky or too cold for the weather!! So I ended up pulling together an outfit out of things I already owned! This is the outfit I wore for the Bank Holiday Monday, and in fact this is a scheduled post that I’m writing on the Monday! I have a busy day and not sure when I’m going to get time to do posts at the moment, so I’m just scheduling things whenever I can! But this afternoon we went to listen to my sister play guitar with a band in a charity gig at someone’s house. It was actually pretty strange because they’d asked this band to play and it’s a family that were a few years younger than me at school, so it was pretty odd to be around all these people that I knew when they were really little and now were all grown up and drinking! Some of them I hadn’t seen since they were around 10, and now they were 17, weird!
This evening we’re going over to the cricket club at a nearby town to watch the

This evening I went to a celebration at a Cricket pitch at a town near where I live at home with my family and met up with a couple of friends and some of my family over there. We were expecting a big screen showing the Jubilee Concert in London to be outside for everyone to see, but in the end they’d put it inside the club and there wasn’t much room in there! So we ended up just sitting around on rugs and chairs outside in the cold, but it was nice to see everyone anyway! I was pretty much the only one who’d Jubilee-themed myself, but that’s just me!!
Anyway, have you all noticed the new header?? What do you think? It was designed for me by my sister – all hand designed, drawn and painted. She’s currently setting up a shop selling headers, buttons, backgrounds – some premade and also custom made. Let me know if you’re interested in anything and she’ll get back to you about it! I might be playing around a bit more with my layout etc yet, but what do you think of the header for now?
Fab fun outfit!! 🙂 And I do like the new header!! 🙂
Almost all of my outfits could easily pass for ‘Jubilee outfits’, as I wear red & blue all the time, haha! Love your outfit, and your hair is getting so long! xx

So cool that you’re wearing the colours of the flag !! I watched the concert from TV at home and it was amazing. It would have been so lovely to be in London during the events.

Loving your themed outfit! I was actually watching the boat parade on Sunday from here in the states. Thank you BBC America! It would have been so neat to be in Britain for the celebration.
