I’m so behind on posting outfit photos at the moment! This is from Tuesday evening, well, not too bad I suppose, but I always seem to be a couple of days behind!! I wore this outfit to walk the dog in the evening, and yes, I understand that it’s not a normal walking the dog outfit, but since when have I been normal?! I hadn’t really done much that day because I’d had that horrible night with stomach and back pains then been to the Doctors that morning, but by the evening I was feeling quite a lot better, so I decided to put on some real clothes for walking the dog. I persuaded Ben to come with me on a walk we don’t do very often to the top of a hill that overlooks our village, but I did a blog post two years ago now (crazy!!) with outfit photos up there! Anyone recognise my old header in those pictures too?!
I ordered this dress from Matalan a couple of months ago now and I’ve already worn it several times, just never had a chance to blog about it! I first saw it at the Matalan show at Aintree and just could not stop thinking about it, I loved the pretty lilac colour, I don’t have any other clothes in that colour, and the length with the full skirt. Unfortunately even though it’s the smallest size, it’s a little bit big on the waist, I think the sizes run a bit funny in it though. But as long as I wear it with a belt it’s fine! I’ve also worn it with a scarf tied round the waist which worked well too. It’s amazing quality too with an underlining and nice weighty material, while still feeling light and summery. And again I just had to wear it with my Zara cardigan. I swear this is the perfect cardigan for this length and shape of dress, I wear it with pretty much all my dresses now, I think I need to get more of these!!

that dress is a GORGEOUS colour! i love it!
i don’t wear ‘conventional’ outfits to do anything (especially the cleaning) its always nice to feel good in what you’re wearing!
