Ignore the ladder in my tights, please!! I constantly have ladders in my tights, I cannot wear them for more than 10 minutes without getting a ladder haha!! Anyway, again this is another outfit that’s a few days old now – I didn’t wear this for any special occasion or anything. We popped out to Castle Howard which is very near to where I live to have a look around the shops in the courtyard. There’s one shop in particular there which is just full of pretty floral things that I absolutely love, I kept telling my mum that if she was ever stuck when buying me a present she could get me anything from there haha!! We took Lottie with us too and they absolutely adore her in the garden centre shop, they gave her loads of treats, she’s so spoilt!!
The photos here are by my mum, usually I get Ben or my sister to take them, but that day everyone else was out or busy, so I grabbed her, and I think she did a good job!! Although it took a lot of directing and instructing how to hold the camera…
Cardigan: Primark
Blouse: Primark (similar here)
Skirt: c/o Sugarlips
Flats: Next (similar here)
I was sent this beautiful skirt by the lovely people at Sugarlips – I hadn’t heard of their site before, but I’m really impressed with it! They work so well with style bloggers who they use to model their clothes on the website, which I think is awesome because when you buy something, you really want to see it worn on a real person how they would wear it everyday rather than a model (not that they’re not real people too!), but they’re standing on a set being photographed rather than really wearing it, if you understand me! It is ever so slightly too big on the waistband, but at least that means it’s comfortable, but now I check the sizing chart on the website, I see I should have gone a size smaller really, but maybe I could tuck jumpers and things into it in the winter =D
The flats are new – I bought them at the weekend when we travelled down to St Albans when we stopped at Meadowhall shopping centre. I spotted a pair of sandals that I really liked in Next but when I tried them on they didn’t suit me, then these caught my eye and I just had to get them! They’re jelly shoes (which is always a massive plus in my book!) and peep toe with a little bow, what’s not to love?! Of course I’m sure you’re not supposed to wear them with tights, even if they are skin coloured ones, but I’m getting fed up of having to wear black tights and trousers all the time, it’s supposed to be summer!! Ah well, I’m off to Turkey on Wednesday anyway, so I’m pretty certain I won’t be wearing tights and trousers there!!
Love,
This skirt is beautiful! x
Hi, I have just found your blog on twitter! and love it 🙂
This outfit looks lovely
nicole xx
Wonderful blues!! They really work 🙂
I have the same problem with tights. Ten minutes and I have them laddered too!
Now you really have to stop wearing all those pretty shoes! Seriously! Every time I visit your blog you make me jealous! 😀 You look adorable! Love the colours 🙂
Aargh the tights, it’s horrible! Doesn’t matter if you invest in a “quality” pair, they always get laddered after 10 minutes! Sometimes you can stop the ladder with clear nail polish but most of the time the damage is already too big 🙁 xx
I love the purple color you are wearing- so pretty! Also, that skirt is simply beautiful! 😀
The shoes are adorable! For A second there, I was wondering why you legs were much more tan than the rest of your body and then realized you were wearing tights. Haha 🙂

the shoes look amazing with the pastels 🙂 I love purple! xx
I love the Peter Pan collar and the blue in those shoes!
Have a great vacation, I’ll be back for new posts! 🙂
