Yes, yet another outfit post from Turkey! I promise the next one will be from home – I have 6 sets of outfit photos taken since I’ve come home that I’m yet to post! This outfit is pretty much a stolen idea – not from another blogger this time, but from someone else at our hotel! One evening Ben and I were sitting outside having some drinks and a girl walked past; Ben said to me: ‘I bet you’ll like her outfit.’ And, for once, he was right, I did. She was wearing a strapless blue striped top (not the same as this one, but similar) with a wide waist belt and a coral sheer maxi skirt (much like this one but obviously a different colour). Suddenly it popped into my head that I had a stripy blue top and a coral/pink sheer skirt and I could make this outfit!! I wasn’t sure if it would actually come together alright on me, but it turned out fine in the end (I think!).
Oh and thank you for all the comments recently, I’ve had a lot of lovely ones =) I should also mention, a lot of you commented on my heels on holiday – unfortunately, they won’t make many more appearances in these outfits…around this time on the holiday, I stood on a really sharp stone without realising. Now, I have very tough feet, like very: I can walk around in all weather without shoes on and I always have done, whereas Ben is not good without shoes. So we were on this trip and Ben couldn’t walk across this stoney area to get his shoes, so I ended up going backwards and forwards getting his stuff. I, inevitably, managed at some point in this time to stand on a horrible stone, although it didn’t hurt at the time. Now have you ever seen a bruise on the sole of someone’s foot? Because I haven’t! I didn’t know you could get bruised there. Well, apparently it’s possible because I bruised the sole of my heel. It wasn’t awful, but just not exactly fun, and meant heel-wearing hurt for a good few days, boo =( But at least I had several other pairs of shoes with me ;D

such a great outfit! The skirt looks super comfy and very cute – perfect for the summer! the flats are great – very bold, without over doing it 🙂

Such a cute outfit, Sian! Sorry about your foot!! I hurt myself really bad running into a river to retrieve a boat in high school (I know, right) — I stepped on a piece of glass and had to go to the hospital for stitches, wearing shoes was awful for a while!! So I definitely know that feeling!

Gorgeous, relaxed outfit Sian! Really want a skirt like yours but can’t seem to find one that suits me 🙁 You rock the look! And sorry about your feet! But on holiday it’s mostly too hot to wear heels anyway so it’s not that bad after all, is it? 😉 xx
