I’m back from Turkey now everyone!! Well actually I’ve been back for a few days now, but had quite a busy time and just been too lazy to get myself back on the internet, but I thought I’d better get on with it, especially since I have 14 (yes, fourteen) sets of outfit photos from Turkey – some evening wear, some day wear and some swim wear, as well as photos of some trips we did!! Hopefully you’ll like them all though, and they’ll be interspersed with normal posting, so you shouldn’t get too bored!! I decided to mostly take photos of my outfits in the evening since that was when I really wore proper outfits, day time clothing usually consisted of a pair of plain shorts and a top just to wear over a bikini which could be taken off quickly for sunbathing!! The outfit here is actually a daytime one however, and one of my first for the holiday. You’ll notice throughout the day time pictures that I have my hair up, that’s just because it’s so hot!! I don’t generally like wearing it up, but in that weather I had to!
Sunglasses: Primark
Top: Forever 21
Shorts: La Redoute (so old!!)
Gladiator Sandals: Greek Market
Don’t worry, I know that the pictures of the outfit are blurred – somebody (ahem, Ben) was rushing to take the photos and didn’t even realise it was on manual focus and that the pictures were blurry. Never mind, you can sort of see the outfit, and let’s just pretend it was some fancy deliberate effect…
Anyway, the pictures above are our hotel by day and night – it was called the Green Forest Hotel in Hisaronu. The town of Hisaronu itself wasn’t the nicest town ever, more catered towards the English tourist, but we visited Olu Deniz and Fethiye which were a bit more upmarket and pretty. But they’ll be pictures of that later, so don’t worry!!
I think that’s all I’ll say about the holiday for now, I’ll save some for some other posts!! Yesterday I went up to the school I’ll be teaching it, it was the first time I’d driven that route and the first time I’d driven on a motorway by myself so that was a little scary, but it was all good! I got given a lot of info about what and who I’ll be teaching, met some of the pupils I’ll be teaching (which includes Sixth Form!), and had a tour of the school and a boarding house which I’ll be a tutor in. As well as teaching I’ll be a tutor for the girls in one house in years 7 and 8, so that’s ages 11-13(ish), so I’m quite excited about that! They were all really lovely and I can’t wait to get started now!! But I’ve got a lot of work to do first in preparation for it!!
Love,
