Another old outfit, but I do keep wearing similar combinations of it recently – I wore these jeans with a top underneath and the cardigan unbuttoned over the top yesterday, or at least until I got changed because it was too cold – yes, that’s right, too cold for a top, jeans and cardigan in July!! We were going to be outside all afternoon though, so I did have an excuse! It was the Ryedale Show yesterday, which is basically an agricultural and trade fair where I live, and it’s always been the big event of the summer for our area. When I was younger, we always used to go to the After Show Party run by the Young Farmers which was always pretty funny, especially as it was in a field with a load of under 18s trying to get their hands on alcohol (luckily/unluckily my older cousin was usually there and would buy me drinks, thus giving me ultra cool status, ahem..). I usually meet up with a few family and friends there, and this year my sister, mum and I went and met my grandparents and aunty and uncle on one side. You always end up seeing so many people you know as well, including old family friends, plus another aunty and uncle with my baby cousin. But it’s always fun and I always miss it when we happen to be away over it!!
Cardigan: H&M
Belt: Primark
Jeans: Topshop Leigh Jeans (buy them here!)
Flats: Primark
This cardigan is one of the things I bought on that same shopping trip with my sister that I keep talking about!! It’s supposed to be one of my things for when I start work in September, but I couldn’t help wearing it before!! I think it’ll go with so many things and can be worn as a top or cardigan, done up or undone. And again, as I’ve mentioned, I just keep wearing these jeans all the time at the moment – and because they’re so comfortable and practical, I ended up buying another pair in a lighter colour and a smaller size today! Yes, I went shopping again, with my sister again, and I bought way too much as usual. Although the Topshop jeans were the only things I bought at full price, everything else was in the sale – I ended up with a £10 dress from New Look, a £10 Oasis skirt for work, a £5 bra from La Senza (get down to one now if you live near one, they’re selling off all the old stock for £5 before they change over all their stock after being taken over by Victoria’s Secret), and a £5 dress from H&M that I really wanted months ago but didn’t want to pay the £29.99 originally, so glad I didn’t!!
