Yet another Christmas time outfit, and I can’t remember which day I wore this on! I think it might have been the Thursday after Christmas. Ben and I went up to IKEA in Gateshead that day then had a quick look around the Metro Centre. I say quick, but what I really mean is searching for a space to park for ages, then a quick look, then leaving! I did manage to pick up a discounted Freya bra in Debenhams (in my size!!) which is pretty awesome and a few things in Primark. It was my first trip to Primark in months, can’t even remember the last time I went, so I was super excited. Ben gave me 5 minutes to look then I had to pay, but I managed to be out of the shop, already paid in 7 minutes, impressive? I think so!
This dress is, yes, another Christmas present! You’ve seen all my Christmas clothes now =) It’s a bit of a funny shape for photos because it’s a swing style, so it pretty much just drapes, but it’s an amazing colour and really comfortable. Perfect for Christmas dinners =D And I love the long sleeves for this time of year.
Dress: ASOS (buy it here)
Shoe Boots: Tesco
Thank you to everyone who’s filled in my survey in the last post so far (including my father!!). Not everything has been entirely positive, which is what I expected, but it hasn’t been hugely negative, in fact the only negatives have been constructive. It looks like a few of you want me to work on posting more and on quality of images. I do know that my photos are sometimes blurry, but basically I’m lazy!! I’ll work harder on not blurring them in future though – generally they tend to blur if I have to take them in bad light (like recently) or ones where I’m spinning or something. And recently I’ve had to force family members and Ben to take my photos, and they generally don’t want to do it, so rush them and don’t tell me if they’re blurring. So hopefully soon I’ll be able to work on non-blurry photos! And with regards to posting more, well you all know that’s something I want to work on. Due to work and illness (still recovering from that operation!), it’s very difficult for me to post regularly, particularly as it’s dark when I leave for work (and get there, boo =(), and dark when I get in, so it’s either indoor photos or none. I prefer none! Anyway, I’ll get working on those things =)
Also, completely forgot to tell you something awesome! I am super excited because my friend Charley, plus two of her friends from uni, Lucy and Melissa, and I have booked a holiday to Disneyland Paris!! We’re all massive Disney-ites, in fact Melissa is there right now working! We’re going at the end of my Easter holiday, so not that long to go! And we have 5 days and 4 nights there, so it’s going to be pretty amazing!
Your dress is lovely, I was eying it up on ASOS, the colour is perfect for winter. I love Gateshead’s Metrocentre too, I often go with my boyfriend to the Wagamama there when I’m visiting Durham xx
I love that dress! I’ve been looking for one like it but I have a hard time finding swing dresses that don’t cling to my hips (because I’m just shaped that way haha). Your hair has gotten so long, Sian! You look like you feel a lot better too. 🙂
Best
