Knitted Jumper and Florals

I managed to go missing for a while again, didn’t I?! I’ve had a pretty busy time recently which involves some rather exciting news that I’m not quite ready to explain yet, but don’t worry, I will do soon! I’m home at the moment for the week, so finally managed to fit in some outfit photos. I don’t think I’ve done some proper ones for a while, and unfortunately I managed to leave the camera on the wrong white balance settings, typical! My sister took them for me and we both froze taking them, so we weren’t exactly willing to go out and do more, so I’ve done my best editing them. I really need to work on getting some good outfit photos soon, but it’s just too cold to spend much time out there trying to do that! We ended up with another 6 inches of snow last week, in fact on Valentine’s Day it was so bad that Ben’s car got stuck in the snow a mile out of our village on top of a hill, so we had to walk home in minus temperatures and super fast freezing winds, romantic much?! We actually didn’t really do much celebrating for Valentine’s Day – I got my exciting news on that day, but we ended up doing our Valentine’s meal on Friday (due to the snow and the fact that every supermarket round us decided not to do one of the dine in meals!).

I’ve been wearing fairly lazy outfits recently – mostly repeated ones or just jeans and a jumper, and mostly because my house is absolutely freezing!! My sister and I are planning to go shopping and to the cinema tomorrow which I’m really excited about because I haven’t been ‘real’ shopping for months, in fact probably since last summer?! I’ve only bought clothes online or in supermarkets, which is fine, but I love wandering round and grabbing things. I’m thinking of getting some Joni Jeans from Topshop because I’ve seen a few bloggers who have them and love them, plus they look very similar to my others that I wear all the time except more high waisted, which is perfect for me! I also want some more tops, as usual, because I never have enough nice tops and blouses. Then on Friday I’m getting my hair done – it’s needed cutting for aaaages because the ends are so frizzy, so I’m thinking a good few inches off the bottom (although I’ll be really sad to see it go!) plus highlights and a bit of a side fringe. I used to have highlights when I was a teenager and have been thinking of going lighter again for a while now, hopefully it’ll just look a bit tidier!

I love this outfit! I think the purple tights really finish it off well. I am also living in jeans and jumpers because of the cold right now, and I am so bored of it. Going shopping tomorrow too so hopefully that’ll inspire me a little =) xx

I love how colour coordinated this is. The jumper is super cute and looks super snug. I especially like it with that lacey collar.

Love your look…love the poses………. ;love the sweater, the tights, the skirt…the colors………. they work for you soooo well……
You’re so chic! So pretty…and you have such a great sense of style.

You match perfectly…everything you wear…… you certainly make a super statement…..
And don’t get me started on your gorgeous hair…… oh my…I miss those days….growing up my mom, a hairstylist refused to cut off my baby curls to they grew to your length….had it long for such a long period of time…….
I grew up in tights, being in ballet for 13 years. In fact, mom raised me rather androgynously, so I also wore tights under big sweaters and hip length tunics and such around the house growing up. Your lovely look reminds me of all those days….epsecially when the delivery man would come and I’d meet him at the door and he’s refer to me as Miss……
Oh, by the way, I’m a guy…and I love fashion as much as I love dance.
I traveled in Europe this past fall,
It looks like you have the same affinity for tights as I have…..

I’ve been raving to my new friends about how much I love the tights/shorts look, so they encouraged me to try it myself…
and I have in a big way,….. denim cutoffs, high waisted shorts, even a romper…….
I will following your blog religiously….. thanks for sharing your lovely taste and your beauty
