And the final Chiara Fashion Valentines dress – a black lace body con number! I decided to go a little less girly-girl romantic, which is my usual sort of style, and more tough looking for the last one, a little anti-Valentine perhaps?! It was fun to wear this dress as it’s not really something I’d wear anymore – maybe when I was at uni on a night out, this is the type of thing I’d have worn, except with much higher heels, but now I have no need for short tight dresses! Nevertheless, it still has the prettiest lace arms and I like the lace that’s see through at the top too – although the fact that it had a separate under-dress attached only at the top was a bit of a conundrum to me; as I’m sure you have all now realised, I don’t have the best balance or poise in the world, in fact I’m probably close to being one of the clumsiest people in the world, so trying to simultaneously get two layers of dress on at the same did mean a lot of stumbling and tangling, but I got there in the end!
Leather Biker Jacket: Matalan
Black Lace Dress: c/o Chiara Fashion
Heeled Shoe Boots: Tesco Clothing
Of course, this being my ‘tough girl’ Valentine look, I had to pair it with my leather biker jacket. I wish I had more opportunities to wear it, but it’s not exactly the smartest thing to wear as a teacher!!
We had Ben’s parents up to see us today, so we made some red velvet cupcakes for his sister whose birthday is in a week’s time, went out for a meal at a local pub (where I had steak and amaaazing chips!!) then went for a wander round our local market town, Richmond. The problem with telling people ‘Richmond’ is near where I live is a bit of a problem as most people think of Richmond as in the area of London, or Richmond in Vancouver, BC! But this Richmond is a tiny, ancient market town in North Yorkshire that’s really pretty! It has lots of trinketty shops, a cobbled market square and plenty of charity shops to explore. Ben’s sister and I both bought dresses in a charity shop, Ben bought me a mirror for our bedroom (as I currently have to do my make up sat on the floor in the spare room!) and we got Ben’s sister a necklace as a birthday present. We then came back home to eat cupcakes and have hot chocolate and tea. So a lovely day all in all! I’ve just spoken to my parents on Skype who are away in Austria at the moment, we’ve had a chicken souvlaki style tea, and we’re now going to settle down in front of the TV for the evening, old woman much?! Ah well, that’s just me!
Love the lace dress, its fits you so perfectly!

I drive past Richmond on the way to Durham, although at first I was a little confused that there was another Richmond besides the suburb in London! The dress is wonderful, love how you toughened up the look with the jacket 🙂 xx
Oh that jacket is gorgeous and makes a wonderful juxtaposition against the lace.
I like the jacket.
