Okay, I decided I’m going to share my exciting news with you all now – I have a new job!! A little while ago I started thinking that teaching wasn’t quite for me – I’d got a bit of a, I don’t want to say negative, but not positive impression of it over the time I’d been there, mostly because of my illness and operation which meant I was working really hard while feeling quite poorly a lot of the time, then afterwards I got the infection and tried to carry on working through that, which didn’t really help! But basically, I didn’t feel I ‘clicked’ with teaching, so I came to the decision that I wanted to leave. There was no point in me continuing my GTP (teaching course) when I wouldn’t use it, so I handed in my notice and have now finished at the school. I’ve been super lucky though because I managed to get a new job really quickly at a fairly local Digital Agency which specialises in SEO and web design. They were looking to reach out more to bloggers, so seemed like the perfect job for me! I’m so excited to be doing something in an industry that I absolutely love, and I’ll be finding a lot more about the workings of companies with bloggers which is really interesting, I already learnt a lot just at the interview! I’m starting there on Friday, so in just less than a week, so I’m super excited to get going =D And I’m already booked in to go to a conference the next day in Leeds, so I expect there’ll be a lot more things to learn there!
Burgundy Woolly Jumper: c/o Motel Rocks (old – similar here)
Tribal Skirt: Zara (similar here)
Black Flats: Dorothy Perkins (exact ones)
Anyway, onto the outfit! This jumper is getting pretty old and scruffy now! I should really do a remix post on it soon, I’ve worn it far too many times, but this colour seems to be one of my favourites, particularly around this time of year, and it just seems to go with everything. And the skirt is the new one I told you about yesterday – tribal, do you think? Or Aztec maybe? My sister bought a top in the exact same print and she’s wearing that today! I wanted to take a picture to put up but she wouldn’t let me. And I’m wearing my new shoes again, same as yesterday. I was a little worried about them as they’re a little bit stiff and thought they would rub my heels, but I wore them this morning to go to the supermarket and round a few shops and they were fine, they’re good and sturdy so hopefully I won’t mess them up as quickly as I usually do!!
Speaking of shopping this morning, I accidentally bought a few more clothes in Matalan, and Sainsburys, oops. Although they had 25% everything in Tu at Sainsburys today and I saw a nice top so I bought it – I do need new tops!! And one of the items in Matalan was a top….the other two were dresses but don’t tell anyone, sshh!! I’m sure you’ll see them soon too =D
Great skirt!
