This last weekend I had my sister up to stay, and this is what I wore to go shopping with her on the Saturday. We didn’t do a huge amount of things apart from eating and shopping, but it was a lot of fun 🙂 And she actually agreed to taking my pictures for me, yay!! I bought this blouse when I was at the Leeds meet up the weekend before in Primark – I adore china prints and this also has a studded collar. I would much prefer it if it weren’t sheer, but alas, it is. Every blouse I like at the moment seems to be sheer, and even though I’m not working at school anymore, I still don’t think it’s appropriate to have my underwear showing through at work, even if it is a more casual office! The skirt is fairly new too – I really liked the fact that it’s a denim skirt but not necessarily a mini skirt. I was hoping it would be a little longer, but I’ve worn it to work and it didn’t feel too short, so that’s okay 🙂 And these are my new shoes from Yeswalker – I was surprised at how comfortable they are. I thought the heel looked quite big when I got them, but they seem to support my foot and ankle really well so that they’re comfortable.

So this day, as I said, Beth and I went shopping. I didn’t want to buy too much but I got some things I’d wanted for a while like sneaker wedges (yes, I’m very late to the party!) which I got for £17 all the way down from £45, so that was pretty awesome! I also got some of the Joni jeans from Topshop I’d been really wanting for a while and I’m really pleased with them 🙂 I ended up having to go up a size and get them in a size 10 because I tried on some 8s before and they were ridiculously tight on my hips! The 10s are a perfect fit on me, so I really hope they don’t stretch! I also got a couple of summery items – some shorts and a crop top in New Look as well as a dress from Primark. I’m sure you’ll see them all at some point!
And I’ve haven’t really said much about work yet! Well, I’m absolutely loving my new job. I pretty much just get to write and contact bloggers all day at the moment, so that’s a lot of fun 🙂 I’m being given new responsibilities every day and being told I’ll get more because apparently I’ve done well so far, so that’s good. Everyone is so nice too .It was a little strange at first because it’s basically an office full of men – the only women are me, another girl and the boss! – but I’ve got used to it now, and I think I’ve got to say it’s a lot easier working with men! More on work another time though, Ben has been pestering me to get off the computer for about half an hour…I have more outfit photos already done, plus a few reviews of products and a recipe, so I’ll definitely be back soon!
