This is my outfit from the Fabb Bloggers Leeds event that I told you about the other day, and it’s an interesting mix of old and new items! The leather jacket and shoe boots aren’t that old, but a firm staples in my wardrobe now, the Zara navy cardigan is something that has been worn far too many times now, and the dress, bag, scarf and necklace are all new. Don’t worry, I can justify all the new things! I won a voucher for See it Want it Own it so decided to spend it all in one go and got loads of beautiful accessories. I didn’t just get the scarf and bag, I also got two pairs of earrings and a watch, all of which are so cute =) The bag is definitely my favourite though, I can see it becoming a favourite! The dress too is new, but this one I actually spent money on. I bought it from New Look online after a lot of deliberation between this and the coral version, but I think this one will be more versatile. The skirt is quite short and voluminous though which I imagine could cause a few problems!
Biker Jacket: Matalan (similar here)
Scarf: See it Want it Own it (competition)

Above is a close up of some details including my amazingly cute new necklace from Hooby Noo World. When I was asked to pick something from there, it took a lot of deliberation because there are SO many cute little pieces, but in the end it just had to be the little acrylic fox necklace. His name is Freddie by the way =D Oh and actually there’s another new item in this outfit, oops! The belt from Matalan is new, but it was in the sale, part of the order to make it up to £50 for free delivery a few weeks ago. It’s reversible though, and I’ve wanted a belt like this for a while. And then looking at the above picture, you can just about see my nails. I won some nail wraps in a Twitter competition, and these are them. I was really impressed by them too! They were a gold lace design. I’ve never tried them before and was a bit hesitant – they didn’t look as if they’d stick on very well, but actually they stayed on for well over a week and I ended up peeling them off because I wanted a change. I’m definitely going to be getting some more very soon!
And below are a couple of pictures from my evening. I actually headed straight off from Leeds down to a village near Harrogate for a ‘dinner party’ with some of my parents’ friends. We met up with them on holiday in Canada last year (I still need to get the rest of those posts up, eek!). So they invited us round for a meal in their ‘shed’…this actually turned out to be more of a Scandinavian hut covered in bunting and reindeer skins with a fire pit in the middle. We ate sausages and venison burgers with some amazing salads sat around a fire at the bottom of their garden in pretty much the middle of winter, and it was lovely! Unfortunately I only had my portrait lens so could only get detail shots, but they’re quite pretty anyway =)
🙂 you looked lovely. Zara cardigans are my favourite just to throw over an outfit, I have two of the same black ones that I can alternate between haha.
