I had a lovely couple of days this past weekend – on Saturday I went off to the first Fabb Events blogger meet up in Leeds organised by the brilliant minds behind Fabb Events Ray and Tor. You might remember I went to the Leeds Blogger Meet Up arranged by them last year, but anyway, I’ve got a proper post coming up on that soon!
This outfit is actually from the Sunday – Mothers Day. I bought this dress on a very quick trip to Primark on my way to the train coming back from the event. I had an annoying gap of time between the event finishing and my train leaving which wasn’t enough to properly shop, but too long to wait at the station. So a quick dash to Primark it was. This was the first time I’d been to Primark since leaving Newcastle last May, crazy, I know! I didn’t have time to try things on, so I grabbed this dress and a pretty blue patterned blouse that I’ll show you soon (I already wore that today but didn’t take photos!).
Wanna see an awesome new pose…my sister and were messing around when taking pictures, there are far worse ones than this, maybe another outtakes post?! Although they weren’t actually outtakes…

I’m also wearing a couple of other new things here – my necklace and belt are both new from Matalan, although from the sale. Ben was ordering some clothes and got the basket to like £46 or something and it was £50 for free delivery, so I made it up with these and a dress that’s the exact same as the striped midi dress but in navy. I really like the shape and ease of them, plus they’re super comfy!!
I’ve been living in these shoes recently too…except for today because it’s snowed again and I’ve had to pull out my winter boots again. It’s getting silly now with this snow, I think it’s gone, then all of a sudden it’s back again!
So the day I wore this outfit, we didn’t do much except have an awesome cooked brunch which was just what I felt like having and visited my grandparents. Ben and I had to drive back to our house in the evening so we ended up leaving a bit early because it had started snowing like crazy, yucks.
Anyway, I’ll be back soon with a post or two about Saturday – I actually went out to a ‘dinner party’ (more to come!) in the evening which I want to tell you about too =)
