L’Oreal Confetti Nails

After seeing Ellie’s absolutely gorgeous nails with the L’Oreal Confetti Topcoat at the Fabb Bloggers Leeds event the other weekend, I decided I had to have some. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite as easy as just getting some like that. I searched Boots and Superdrug in the local towns to no avail, then was browsing the make up aisle in our local Tesco the other day and spotted it. And it was just as perfect as I thought!
I’ve always been pretty lazy with my nails – mostly because of the fact that I can’t seem to wear anything on them without chipping them after about 4 hours of putting it on, no matter how well I buff or file them, no matter what condition they’re in, or whether or not I wear a top coat. I’d recently received some Nail Art Nail Tattoos (available at Skin Art) along with the (below) limited edition nail varnishes. Since they weren’t a particular brand, I thought they might be a bit cheap and would chip really quickly. I put on two coats of the blue one (cannot remember the name!), then one of the bow nail tattoos (which apply just as stickers) on each ring finger, a layer of the L’Oreal Confetti top coat, and a layer of the clear coat that came with the tattoos just to be sure. And guess what? 4 days (yes, FOUR!) without chips!! I know!! I couldn’t believe it =D The confetti was really difficult to get off though when I tried to remove it, but looked soooo pretty. I’m gonna try out this combination again with different colours and stickers soon though. I really enjoyed wearing them since they weren’t chipping!

The confetti top coat looks gorgeous! Very festive and cute with the blue nail polish.
I’m glad they lasted you longer. I normally have my nail polish on for a week without top coat and a little bit of chipping on the tips, so I’ve luckily never had this problem!

So glad you managed to find it eventually! It took me a while to find too. It looks fantastic with the baby blue 🙂 I love the bow detail too… Might have to find some of those for myself! 😉 xx
