I have three sets of outfit photos that are basically variations of this outfit! In one I’m wearing different shoes, in another I’m wearing a different top…unfortunately none of them are particularly good photos! In fact, I only managed to get 4 usable ones out of this lot, and one of these was bright blue to start with, it’s gone through a lot of colour editing to be somewhere near the others! This is an outfit I’m a bit stuck on at the moment, firstly because of the awful weather we’ve been having, forcing me to retreat in jeans, secondly just because it’s so comfortable and I love how the top looks with the jeans. I think it looks very 80s/90s vintagey, but nothing in it is actually vintage! I’m planning to wear it on Tuesday again, when I travel over to Disneyland Paris on the Eurostar woohoo!! In fact I’m going to schedule this post for Wednesday I think, so by the time you read it, I’ll most likely have already worn it again, except with different shoes =D
I can’t remember the particular day this was worn on, whether it was weekend or work day, because I’ve worn it for both of those! But I haven’t said much about my life recently! As I mentioned, I’m off to Disneyland Paris very soon! I have work tomorrow, then I’m catching a train down to London in the evening and getting the Eurostar on Tuesday morning. I’m going with my friend Charley plus two of her friends from uni, one of whom I know, the other I’ve never met. But like me they’re all Disney fanatics, so it’s bound to be amazing! In fact, I’m scheduling a post with my packing for tomorrow, so I’ll be talking about Disney a bit more then!
Black Cardigan: New Look
Red Floral Top: c/o Peacocks
I went off topic up there! I was planning to tell you what I’ve been up to lately! Last weekend was Easter, and just about the end of all the snow we’ve been having lately (hence the lack of outfit photos!). On the Saturday I went out for lunch with my friends Kiki and Fran, and my sister came too – we had a lovely meal in a local pub, then in the afternoon, Ben and I were supposed to be viewing the house (which we have now confirmed we’re renting!), but it got cancelled. So we drove down and looked from the outside instead, then went down to York to grab a few things. On the Sunday, we went to Ben’s cousin’s 2nd birthday party which was so much fun! He is obsessed with cars and basically just shouts, ‘Ooh, a car!’ all day long, in between commenting on rabbit balloons and wrestling Ben. His grandma and grandad got him a little ride on push along car, and I think it was the best thing he’d ever seen! I’ll have to get some pictures of him in it up soon! We went out that evening with my family for a meal at another local pub, since my mum forgot to defrost the meat for our roast dinner, typical!
Anyway, back to the outfit here: the top is new from Peacocks
, which I received with another couple of lovely pieces which will be coming up on the blog soon! I used to go to Peacocks in Newcastle quite a bit as it was on my way into uni, but it got shut down in my last year. Since then, I haven’t been anywhere that has one, but I was really surprised how much I love this top!
I have more posts to schedule (shouldn’t have left it till last minute on Sunday evening, oops!), so I’d better go and stop rambling – see you all when I’m back!
