Again a super old outfit – I’m sorry! I will catch up one day 😀 This is another work outfit – again, I can’t believe that I can wear pretty much whatever I want at work. I’d got so prepared to spend my life in smart, modest clothes. And to be fair, I still do wear clothes that are smart and modest at work. I’m not going to turn up with a mini skirt and a strappy top on! But I can wear things that reflect me, and things that I would wear on a normal day even if I weren’t at work. This is one of my smarter, yet quirkier outfits. I went for basic black, white and red colour scheme that I often turn to, but the polka dots, the pencil skirt, the bow on the blouse, all these things make my outfit a little bit more crazy and a little bit more me. I got this blouse off eBay, but it was a brand new ASOS item with tags still, just one of those faulty items that they sell off cheap. It only had a little hole which my mum sewed up for me, and you can’t even see because it’s below the line of where I tuck it into my clothes. I grabbed the pencil skirt a couple of months ago in Matalan when we were looking at homeware. It was pretty cheap, and I can’t resist pencil skirts, let alone polka dot ones!

I had a pretty eventful weekend. On Saturday we went back to my parents’ house (again! We always seem to be there!) and had pizzas. This doesn’t sound that exciting, until you find out that my dad built his own pizza oven a couple of years ago…yep! So he makes the dough, we put our own toppings on and he bakes them in his oven. It’s fun and yummy! On Sunday we went down to a local vintage festival. I met one of my friends down there, but unfortunately there was a lot less going on there than we expected. There was a single tent of vintage clothing stalls and a lot of vintage cars – even less clothing than the fairs I’ve been to in the past. I still managed to find myself a few things though including a voluminous white Greek style dress, a pair of blue heels with a scalloped edge and an amazing bright pink dress with a matching jacket! I’m not entirely sure where I’ll where it, but I’ve told one of the guys at work about it, so I think I might have to wear it to work haha! In fact I described it to him first, and he said I should wear it to work, then I showed him a picture and his response was: ‘Ah. That is pink and retro”! The whole thing, jacket and dress together, were only £10 though! Unworn vintage, thick good quality material and bright pink – I could hardly say no!
Anyway, work has been fun for the last couple of days. I’m currently working on a social media review for a fashion company, which means I’ve been gathering data on their and their competitors’ Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc. Who would’ve thought I’d be doing something I love so much? I pretty much got the job through my blog, and I never thought my little blog would amount to so much! I’ll be back again soon – not too much going on this week, so I should hopefully manage to get at least another post up (but you should know what I’m like by now!). Next week will be busier again though – another awesome thing about my job: I can do things on evenings and weekends and not feel completely and utterly exhausted, yay!
