I mentioned in my His and Hers post the other day that I had some more photos of that outfit but slightly different. Well, these are them 🙂 They’re not spectacularly different, and it’s really just the outfit with tights and different shoes, so suited to the slightly cooler weather of the morning. But since I took some time to take these photos, I thought I might as well let you see them! I am so ridiculously behind on outfit posts right now that these are from somewhere in the middle of May! It’ll get worse when I one day manage to finish off my America posts and then get my Paris ones up.
There’s not really that much to say about the outfit because I already spoke about it in my last post, except for the shoes. The lovely people at Tesco sent these over for me for my Sixties post and I can’t stop wearing them. These are the third pair of shoes I’ve had similar to these – the ones before were just two tone flats with a bow and the first were quilted ballet pumps with chain detail (old Lookbook photo – so young!!). Both pairs were very hard to throw away, so I was so happy to find another similar pair!
Denim Jacket: Matalan (gorgeous Aztec style one)
Lace Pleated Dress: Primark (similar grey one)
Flats: c/o Tesco clothing (ones with a small heel)
Lipstick: Topshop Lip Bullet in Joyride
More close ups of my face in this post, eek! I was trying to get a good picture of the lipstick I’m wearing. I bought this when I was down in London with my sister – it’s the lip bullet in Joyride from Topshop. I’d seen it on a few beauty blogs – I don’t follow many but I kept seeing these lip bullets and wanting to try them. I’ve been really pleased with it actually – it’s a nice deep colour, not too drying and lasts quite well. It does tend to stick more to the outside of my lips and wear off in the middle, but that could be due to the fact that I drink water out of a spouty top bottle all day and it rubs off on that. I want to get it in Heartbeat next, but I’ll probably wait a while.
Anyway, life update: I’ve had a pretty busy week. I had my friend round for tea and to stay on Monday night. She was one of my group of friends from Greece (if you’ve clicked that link, scroll past the outfit photos tagged with Greece – that’s just because the sandals I’m wearing came from there!) who I hadn’t seen in two years (apart from 10 minutes a couple of weeks ago at the vintage fair). It was really lovely to catch up and eat the yummy ‘bucket’ cake she brought 😀 Ben was away from Sunday to Tuesday on a training course; on Tuesday evening my family came round with my dad’s pick up to help us transport some garden furniture we’d bought on eBay, then they stayed for a takeaway; on Wednesday I went to Ripon Races with work (more on that another day!); yesterday Ben had a presentation away from home; and now it’s today! So pretty busy but fun 😀
Love,
