Simple outfit much?! It consists of two whole pieces: shoes and a dress. Okay, and the jewellery, but apart from the bracelet, it’s the same old necklace, watch and ring I wear every single day without fail!
I was contacted last month by Fat Face who let me know that they have a competition currently running as part of their 25 Years of Fat Face anniversary: #WinJim. Jim is a camper van, but not just any old camper van, it’s one of the classic VW ones – yep, I have entered! Wish I could enter a few times! My bosses at work have a VW camper, so I would love one too! But make sure to enter for your chance to win! They very kindly offered to send me over a few pieces from the 25 Year Collection for me to show you – so below you can see the polo shirt with the 25 Year design on it and the jute bag. I haven’t had a chance to wear and photograph them yet, but I have worn the amazing Serena dress. They have it in a range of colours and designs and is advertising as the most flattering dress. Now I was a bit skeptical of this claim because, well, it just looks like a pretty cotton sundress. Well, it turns out it is pretty flattering! It’s a great fit on my shape (although a little tight over the bust, but at least it fits my waist!) and a lovely length. I think it would look even better with a pair of strappy wedges to give a bit more height, but it looks casual with flats.
‘Serena’ Dress: c/o Fat Face
Bracelet: c/o Mai Jewellery
Flats: Primark (which is now available at ASOS!)
This lovely leaf inspired bangle comes from my sponsor (over in the sidebar!) Mai Jewellery. It is a really cute design, nice and chunky, and seems to wearable with anything with the white and black design.
In only a couple of weeks, I’m off to America! We’re going to New England again for 2 weeks with my family, so I’m really looking forward to that. We’re not travelling in a camper this time (I’ll miss it!), but staying in apartments and Ben is coming with us. So I’ve started building up posts to schedule for then 🙂 It means I’ve got quite a bit of extra work going on on an evening at the moment! I’m planning on having some beauty item reviews, remix posts, outfit posts and (very late!) holiday pictures. It won’t even feel like I’m gone 😀 Plus, if I don’t get those up soon, I’m going to have a major backlog, since I already have about 8 lots of photos stockpiled, and loads more that I need to do – I’m just pretty blog-inspired at the moment I guess!
Love,
