Eeh bah gum, how awesome is this T shirt?! Okay, you might not find me speaking quite like that anytime soon – I’m told at work I’m “posh” because I don’t have the stereotypical Yorkshire accent – but I do love my home county. Mix Yorkshire with Mr. Men and Little Miss and you’ve got a winning combination for me! I got this T shirt along with a few extra Yorkshire themed gifts from I’m From Yorkshire, one of which will be making up a piece of final decor for my sewing room (which I swear will get wallpapered, shelved and “finished” soon!).
The rest of the outfit is fairly simple – a denim A line skirt which featured recently on the blog and is super easy to wear at this time of year plus a pair of old lace up ankle boots which don’t get nearly enough wear because I often forget about them, in fact they’ve only featured on the blog once in the 3 or 4 years I’ve had them!
I’m on a bit of a decluttering and money saving spree at the moment. We had an expensive year in 2015 with the house purchase and 2 new cars – we found this website for if you need to look for poor credit car finance, but luckily didn’t need to use it. Instead, we did a lot of saving and now we’re building that back up again. So I spent a bit of time at the weekend gathering old, hardly worn and never worn clothes together to get rid of, we dumped and recycled a load of stuff from the garage on Sunday, then we’re planning to spend Easter weekend (our first house anniversary!) doing a major clear out to get rid of a lot of clutter we’ve gathered. There are quite a lot of things we can sell on, but I’m also big on recycling too nowadays since visiting the Oxfam Distribution centre last year. Anyone got any tips on decluttering aside from the “just get rid of everything you don’t need”?! I get a liiiittle attached to things and hold onto them just in case, so I’m trying to let go of that but it’s difficult.
I’ve got a busy couple of weeks coming up now with a meal out this weekend for Ben’s sister’s birthday, a trip to Birmingham to Moda (for BCLC) on Sunday, then next week is a Brownie cinema trip, my sister is playing a gig, then going out for an Indian on Sunday. March is set to be even busier as I start a digital marketing course through work a couple of evenings a week – wow!

I have SO got to get me one of those!! Even though I left Yorkshire when I was ten, I’ve always been a proud Yorkshire lass at heart! Right, off to check out their website now π

They have some really cool Yorkshire themed things! The Mr Men and Little Miss T shirts are my favourite but there are a few other Yorkshire Tea themed tees that I really liked the look of too π xx
What a great T-shirt! I am about to start decluttering my flat, I have been itching to do it for ages but have been putting it off as I know I will struggle to let much go unless I am in the right frame of mind. I’ve been told the best way is to do it is to only keep the things you love or haven’t used, worn or looked at in years, I’m going to give it a try, though I expect it sounds far easier than it will be! π

That’s what I plan to do too, I just have to convince myself that I don’t love everything I own, as I will tell myself I do XD
Oh, I’m so in need of a declutter. I’ve found that I’m a bit of a hoarder as well, always holding on to things, just in case. I have so many clothes and shoes which I could get rid of, barely worn, I probably take a bag to the charity shop every time I head into town.

We’ve recently had a lot of British Heart Foundation bags through the door where you can leave it out for them to pick up, which is really handy and I haven’t needed to actually go to the charity shops and drop anything in for a while π I just need to convince myself that not everything will be useful at some point!

Super-duper cute!!! I loved the Little Mr and Misses books when I was a child.

Me too! Although they do slightly remind me of visiting the Drs as they had one of the books there to distract children! Thanks, you too π
