Walt Disney World Trip 2017

I have a super amazing surprise for you all – we have a Walt Disney World trip booked now for May 2017!!

The plan has been in the works for a few months. Our last trip to WDW was in 2014, and before that was 2011, so it was only fitting that 2017 be our next one. When we were younger, the trips used to be every 2 years, although there may have been a couple in there in consecutive years too 😀
The reason this plan has been in the works so long though is a very exciting one. I have two cousins on my dad’s side who are a lot younger, ie. they’re currently 5 and nearly 3. When my sister and I were a similar age, we went on our first ever Disney trip along with our grandparents. So now Mollie and Eva have reached that age, my grandparents want a family trip with them too, and of course we weren’t going to turn down a Disney opportunity!

But wait, there’s more! (In a cheesy infomercial voice please!) Not only will Mollie and Eva be making their first trip to Disney, a couple of family friends are also going to be joining us too for their first ever Disney experience! Yes, it seems half of Yorkshire will be taking over Disney 😀
There’ll be the 5 of us, my grandparents, my aunt and uncle, Mollie and Eva, then Peter and Christine – 13 of us in total, wow! That’s the first time I’ve added it all together 😀 I’m thinking T shirts for everyone?!

Not everything will be done together of course – Mollie and Eva will inevitably not last the long days that we might plan every day, and my grandparents will probably get tired of full days in the parks too. We have accommodation booked in an apartment suite for the first week near the parks along with flights, and my dad’s sorting out our second week’s accommodation now – this won’t be a Disney week, but will be on the other coast of Florida. We tend to do 2 week holidays with the first week as Disney and Universal, then the second week relaxing elsewhere, usually with good food and a beach. We’ve found a villa we like the look of, so will probably be staying there along with Peter and Christine. Although I wouldn’t be too surprised if an extra Disney day sneaks in at the end of the holiday ;D

So obviously, I’m going to be relaying EVERYTHING we do back to the blog! I’ve blogged Disney before, but not to quite an extent as I plan to here. I’m hoping to get loads of photos to use on the blog as well as doing some guides. I’ve also got run up posts planned including things I’m already excited about and more.

As you can probably tell, I’m already ridiculously excited about this! (Although I am hoping to add in a sneaky DLP trip before too – we’ll see!).
