I’ve been struggling a lot with my personal style recently, and I hate to say this but…I’m wishing it was autumn already, okay?! For some reason, an autumn wardrobe always seems SO much easier. You can layer up a bit with tights and jumpers but not have to go overboard with the thick jumpers and coats quite just yet. Plus I’ve always loved the burnt autumn colours. You would never have caught me saying that I actually liked autumn a few years ago, especially because it’s that sad season after summer when the hot weather has gone, but I think part of my personal style transition is moving towards clothes which work better in autumn and away from the light, floaty summer clothes of my teenage years.
I’ve been wanting to buy more clothes recently to replace the ones I no longer want to wear, but so far have succeeded in a pair of Levi jeans (these will definitely be on the blog soon, I’ve lived in them for the 4 days I’ve owned them so far) and a couple of plainer tees. Esprit is a site that I’ve loved a lot recently though, and when we did our mini Europe roadtrip over summer, I found myself in their stores a few times. Their styles seem to be speaking to me at the moment – slightly trend influenced but still more on the casual and comfortable side with a bit more of a grown up look that most high street stores don’t really seem to have for me at the moment.
So I’ve put together the above wishlist of a few of my favourite pieces at Esprit recently. They recently released a collection of bird print clothing and these are just screaming to me at the moment – I think it’s a lot to do with the message of letting things go (more on this as a theme soon!) and being a slightly more sophisticated print but on more comfortable and casual clothes (grey knit is becoming a staple of mine!)
Have you ever shopped at Esprit? What do you think of my picks?
I’m 50/50 on autumn, I think it’s because I want new warm clothes, I’m loving the burgundy colour that seems to be everywhere and love the jeans above. Summer is lovely but when it’s ending I always try to be positive about autumn, new clothes, new colours but I don’t like the dark evenings that are creeping in.

I agree massively on the dark evenings – I hate them! And I miss summer SO much when it’s over, but I’m just loving autumn clothes right now 🙂
I would love to shop more at Esprit, but can’t quite afford it yet. Everything is good quality though, so it is all worth it. I love their shoes and bags too!

I haven’t bought much from them either as I’m not sure where we have stores in the UK so it’s only when I’ve been on holiday that I’ve looked in the stores, but I love browsing their site!
