I’m finally getting round to sharing my Disneyland Paris trip reports on Disney Days – yay!! Let’s not acknowledge the fact that I haven’t yet finished on the Florida posts…I’m spreading them out so I can keep some Disney joy around ;D

When I did my packing and wrote my Disneyland Paris September packing list post, I chose outfits that I knew could easily be mixed and matched with each other. I’m glad I did because it gave me lots of variations of outfits to wear – capsule wardrobe for the win! Not that I could ever stick to a capsule wardrobe for more than about a week, but it was fun for this short time. This first outfit wasn’t actually one from the list, but a mixture of a couple of different ones.

The weather while we were in Disneyland Paris was just ideal. Because it was late September, we were prepared for everything from hot sunshine to chilly rain, and somehow we managed to hit it right in the middle. The days were sunny, particularly this first day – check out the blue sky! – and it was mild weather. I managed to spend most of the time in jeans with a T shirt and jumper, which needed to be removed in the afternoon as it warmed up a little. That’s just the weather you need when you’re walking around a lot – not too warm that you overheat, but not so cool that we got chilly while waiting in queues outdoors or watching parades, shows and fireworks.

I wanted at least a little bit of Disney in each outfit I wore. For this one, I went for an old H&M Mickey jumper with the slogan “Shine on”, my Primark Chip T shirt underneath, classic Minnie ears and my new Superga Minnie trainers. I’d bought these especially for the trip so I wasn’t sure how comfortable they’d be. So I was really glad to find they were perfect – I didn’t get any blisters (and I’m very prone to these!) and I only got achy feet towards the end of the day, which is completely normal after a long day in Disney!

The rest of the outfit was “normal” wear – a pair of Farleigh Mom jeans from ASOS, an ASOS belt and an old Warehouse saddlebag. In the end, I only barely used a bag because I don’t like carrying things around the parks. I mostly just handed things over to Ben and his pockets!

If you want to know more about our first day in Disney, head over to Disney Days where I’ve shared lots more photos!

I really want to go to the Paris Disneyland. I’ve considered it, but since I’m American, the exchange rate makes it really expensive compared to Florida and California. Two, I’m barely ever in Europe, and I really should not go to Disney when I’m there; that would seem silly considering what France has to offer. (I was just in France this past May. Wow!!). I have gone to Tokyo Disney one day. That was a mistake as it was riiiiidiiiiculousllllyyyy crowded and everything is in Japanese (obviously) like on the rides. Could not understand a thing!!! Your outfits are cute. I’m glad you had nice weather!
