Day 17/30

Hello there lovely people! How are you all?? I am fine but very cold right now, just went to put the heating on! I’m back up in Newcastle again now, had 3 hours of uni today, accidentally found my way into Oxfam where I found a lovely dress and blouse but realised I didn’t have my purse and when I asked them to hold them, they said they only would for 30 minutes =( I’m going to go in tomorrow and hopefully they’ll still be there, cross your fingers for me!

I’m really getting into my charity and eBay shopping recently! I just can’t help myself around eBay (in fact I bidded on 3 playsuits today…sshhh!), and I’ve always wanted to have that skill of finding things in charity shops, but I’ve never been able to…until now! Okay, not so much, but I have found a few things recently: a carpet bag for £3.99 and a vintage M&S velvet T-shirt for £3.99 from Oxfam, and a vintage polka dot midi skirt for £2.65 in one I can’t remember! Then those things today, and plus at home we have a Help The Aged (oh sorry it’s Age UK now!) that Ben’s sister always finds things in, but I hardly ever can. Buuuut the other day I spotted a Topshop Leopard Print Fur Coat in there, brand new, for £19.99. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend that much on something from a charity shop, but then a few days later I decided I did, but when I went back it was gone =( Next time I’m not going to deliberate!!

Haha, love this photo! I was demonstrating the lace skirt underneath and caught sight of myself in the mirror so decided to do this “oh!” face haha!

So after my unsuccessful jaunt around Oxfam (which will be successful tomorrow!), I went home and decided the kitchen needed cleaning, and spent a good hour on our little kitchen just tidying, cleaning, washing up etc. Unfortunately I couldn’t vacuum it very well because we have a little carpet sweeper thing and the brush has got full of my hair, it’s ridiculous how much I have! So it doesn’t exactly work very well now….
