Pink Lace

These outfit photos are back from just after I came back from holiday again, from Ben’s sister’s graduation. She was up in Newcastle too but at Northumbria University (where Ben went too), so we went up there for the afternoon. We ended up not going to the actual ceremony but we met Ben’s family and went out for lunch at Six at the Baltic. It was funny because Ben and I lived on the opposite side of the river all the time that we’d lived in Newcastle and we’d been able to see the Baltic from our window, but we’d never been up to the restaurant at the top of it. But finally, after we’d left Newcastle, we went up there for a meal! It wasn’t the nicest day, as you can probably tell, so walking across the Millennium Bridge there and back was a bit wet and cold, and the view was a bit obscured by the rain, but never mind! In the picture below, you can actually see my old churchyard where I used to take all my outfit photos, and on the right hand side of that was our flat, although you can’t see it behind the trees. The picture was actually taken from the toilets in the restaurant!! They have a massive window where the sinks are, so it’s a little scary, but an amazing view!
Oh and by the way, note the Olympic rings on the Tyne Bridge in the background – just had to make sure I got a photo with something Olympic themed =D

So you’ve seen this blazer probably a million times now, and you should expect to see it more once I start working (that’s if I can still fit in time for outfit posts, fingers crossed!!), but I just love it! The shape of it just works really well for me, longer blazers seem to drown me a little, I need them to be cropped at the waist or at least nipped in there. I was really annoyed to find it in the sale in Primark though, and in only this colour too!! When I bought it, I debated what colour to buy because there were several, but went for this one in the end, but I loved the navy and a fairly bright orange colour too, but of course, no other colours were in the sale. 

But the Zara dress was actually in the sale! When I went shopping with my sister after I came back from holiday, I ended up trying on pretty much the whole shop in Zara because the sale was so awesome, but only ended up buying this dress and a pencil skirt for work, which again, hopefully I’ll be able to show you when I’m working!! The dress was only £14.99 I think, which is pretty good for Zara, it has a low back and a really nicely cut neckline, but it just feels slightly too short for me, but I always seem to get this problem with dresses now!!

And the shoes I stole off my mum!! I wanted some fairly low heels but light coloured ones, and I didn’t seem to own any of those, so had to steal these =D I thought they might cut off my legs and make them look short, but I actually really liked them! Unfortunately they did rub my heel a little because my mum put some padding in the back and it caught on my heel.
