Tutu Dress
This morning I’ve been doing some gardening and singing along to the music that I’ve been putting together on viro.fm. It was recommended to me, and I wasn’t really sure if it was something I’d use, but actually I think it will be. You can search for songs, then add them to playlists and they get pulled together from Youtube. It seems to work pretty well! Up until recently I’d been using Spotify to play music, but then it limited me to playing songs only so many times (I’m one of those people who will listen to the same songs over and over!), so I’d moved on to Youtube, but this seems to be even easier since you don’t have to search through loads of Youtube videos to find the right version and the song you want as it just searches for you. So the neighbours have been treated to my singing along to Skinny Love, Disney and All Angels this morning, whether they wanted to hear or not!
Okay, so take note of my hair. I will be doing a post with the curling iron I used on it in a few days or so, but let me tell you something amazing – these are third day, yes third day, curls! More waves really, but it’s not straight!! These curlers are truly amazing, although they do give me some very tight crazy curls to start with though.

I’m starting to get a bit of a Jones + Jones dress collection now that I’ve got this dress (this is the Audrey in black), the black sequined Vivienne and the white Dirty Dancing dress. Ideally I would love to add a few more to my collection, but I suppose I should probably take it slow, especially considering the lack of occasions I have to wear these dresses with their pouffy skirts! I wore this a week or so ago when I went out for a meal with my friends – I had to warn them beforehand that I was planning to turn up in a pouffy dress – not that they minded, apparently I wouldn’t be Sian if I didn’t turn up overdressed in a pouffy dress! I tried to dress it down as much as possible though with my cropped denim jacket that has had way too much wear and an aging pair of Primark flats. I actually wore these shoes for gardening a couple of days before and covered them in mud…yeh, not practical I know! But once the mud was dry it was easy enough to brush off.

I’ve got some exciting news for you today – I have a new baby cousin!! You might remember a couple of years ago my excitement at having a baby cousin, well she now has a little sister. I haven’t met her yet as she is only less than 8 hours old – little Eva Louise was born at 6am this morning at home! I haven’t had the whole story yet, just a text and a related story from my grandparents, but it must have happened pretty quickly if she was born at home. She was nearly a week past her due date too, so Im very impatient to meet her!
So, hopefully I’ll be doing that this weekend – meeting my cousin. Aside from that, we’re babysitting Ben’s 2 year old cousin tonight. I’ll be taking my camera along to try and get some good pictures of him. He’s half Thai and has the most gorgeous big black eyes.

I haven’t worn it on my blog yet though cause I tend to wear it in the evening more. Even though I wear my other Audrey dresses in the day time all the time!
