Sunsets and Smiles

Hello there my dears!
So I still haven’t really got a lot to say! I had a really nice weekend =) Ben and I made our little trip to Newcastle to go to Ikea, we bought so many things for like £20! And discovered the most amazing chocolate EVER, seriously, it was like a cross between Milka and Galaxy chocolate, just pretty much amazing =D You can only get it in Ikea I think, but it’s worth the trip! We mainly just bought little jars and things, because we own so many spices, so we spent ages tidying them into these jars, I’ll show you sometime when we’re back up.

Sorry about the lack of makeup today (I don’t know if you can tell), but I really couldn’t be bothered with it! I wasn’t planning on doing outfit photos today but I liked this outfit so I did in the end. The skirt is new, from eBay! I was a bit annoyed about it actually because after wearing Charlotte’s vintage skirt from eBay, I decided to scour the lots for myself, and found this one, listed as vintage. I won it for 99p, however when it arrived today I discovered it was Primark!! I’m not too bothered because I like it, but if I’d paid much more I would have been angry because Primark clothes are barely worth it.

There was more pretty light today haha! I did my outfit photos when I was walking the dog this afternoon as the sun was starting to go down, and it was really pretty. This is the place where we nearly always walk her, and it’s always lovely =) The river actually dries up in summer and goes underground then comes out a cave further down, it’s strange but really cool, plus you can find amazing fossils in the river bed =) There are also some little cliffs along the edge of it further down which have caves in and you can reach in summer, but my sister and I waded down to them the other day haha =D
Some attempts at pretty photography haha! They’re not that bad are they? The one sitting on the fence was really difficult to choreograph with the self timer!! I wish the dog could work the camera!!
Black Cardigan: New Look
Two Birds T Shirt: Urban Outfitters
Red Waist Belt: Accessorize
Floral Print Skirt: (Vintage…) Primark via eBay
Mock Suspender Tights: Henry Holland
Wellies: Hunter (my mum’s)

And finally, I thought I’d do a little remix post on this top, I bought from Urban Outfitters last September on a whim when shopping with my aunties, mum and sister. They all said I wouldn’t wear it and it wasn’t worth the money, but I think I’ve proved them wrong because as you can see I’ve worn it a lot, here are just some of the ways:

  1. I love your skirt- what a fabulous ebay find!! (Isn’t ebay great? I love shopping for clothes on it.) These photos are just beautiful. I especially love the one of you sitting on the fence, we’re your just a silhouette. Stunning 🙂

  2. thanks a lot for your comment, dear (:
I really like the photos, especially the skirt and don’t worry it’s “just” from primark, it’s worth it!
    have a nice day ♥

  3. Love this whole thing! Your pictures are gorgeous, and so is the countryside. I’m jealous. Also, hello to those gorgeous wellies! I love how you styled them with the socks. I have yet to buy a pair yet…even though I want some desperately. They’ll be perfect in the muddy days of spring coming up soon!

  4. I love those tights! They are amazing. The skirt is really cute, but I would’ve been mad too if I bought something vintage and it was from like Forever 21! Ebay is kind of danger zone for that kind of thing, unfortunately!

Oh and I definitely have gotten that chocolate before at Ikea – and I agree, it is the best!

  5. You look beautiful without makeup. Personally, i think most girls look better without.

This is a lovely outfit! The tights are so neat- I have never seen anything like them before. the silhouette photos are beautiful.

I love all the ways you remixed the top. Very dynamic looks.
