Sorry about the cheesy post title, I just can’t get the Disney magic-ness off my brain yet! And it has a reason too =) This is the outfit I wore last night because Ben and I went out for a meal to celebrate our 3rd anniversary! I cannot believe it’s been so long!! Or as he alwaaaays jokes, he cannot believe he’s put up with me for so long! I suppose I am quite difficult to put up with, what with all my moaning about buses and illnesses, so he must really be amazing to have stuck through all that for three whole years.
True love stories never end..
This is my first proper outfit post with my new camera, eeek!! I love the way the photos look with it, they’re so much clearer and really bring out the clothes more, which is what I was aiming for! Unfortunately they also bring out my skin tone more, which isn’t an awful thing, I don’t mind my pale skin, except for the fact that we’ve been in 100 degree Florida for 3 weeks and it hasn’t tanned one bit on my face!! Never mind, that’s just me!
So for our anniversary, which was the first one we’ve actually managed to be together for because I’m usually on holiday without him at this time of year, we just went out for a meal at a local pub that my family used to go to a lot, but closed and has just reopened. We had an amazing three course meal: shared a Camembert starter, then I had a vegetable lasagne and Ben had a massive steak and chips, and for dessert I had an apricot and brandy creme brulee and Ben had a chocolate pavlova with creme de menthe. It was all looooovely, and Lottie (the dog) was pleased to get the leftovers from Ben’s giant steak =D
Blue Tie Cardigan: Rome
Floral Dress: Forever 21
Red Shoes: Charity Shop
Is this dress not the most amazing dress ever?! I’m going to have to tell you why it’s the perfect dress for me right now. So on our last day in Florida, we went to the Mall at Millenia and I only had a little while to have a last look in Forever 21 before we had to go to the airport. I had an armful of tops, because I’ve been looking for some for ages, I seem to be short on them, but the changing rooms were really busy, so my mum just made me try them on over my dress on the shop floor! I didn’t like any, but I still had $30 left that I didn’t want to take home. As we were walking out I spotted something floral, I was like, ooooh floral (you all know my love of florals by now!) and grabbed it, noticed some awesome buttons down the back (buttons!!) then realized the amazing open back. I just cannot resist something with an open back. So I whacked it on to discover it also had pockets. The deal was made: floral, open back, buttons and pockets?! Too good to be true, and it fits me perfectly!!
Love,
Such a lovely floral dress, the fact that it has an open back makes it even more amazing!
Sounds like you and your man had a wonderful anniversary 🙂

I love the dress! I wish I could wear an open back dress but I have a lot of scars on my back :(. It looks great on you though!
Must be so nice to celebrate an anniversary. I don’t have one but I’ve been with my bf for about 3 years too. Time flies, doesn’t it?
