14 Again

I didn’t manage to get many good photos of this outfit today – I haven’t worked out a good outfit photo taking place at home yet, plus my hands were freezing, so I didn’t get many!! Also my dog thought I was burglar and came out barking at me half way through so I ended up with a batch of me laughing and falling out of the screen while she jumped on me!!
Anyway, it’s pretty much my official first day of the Christmas holidays today – yesterday didn’t count because my sister wasn’t finished yet, so I’ve decided it’s today!! Despite that, I’ve actually been pretty busy. I’ve decided to apply to Durham University for an MA in Museum and Artefact Studies. I originally wanted to do Conservation of Archaeological and Museum Objects, but that requires a qualification higher than GCSE in Chemistry, which unfortunately I don’t have…no one told me 5 years ago that I’d want it!! So I could take a year out to do the AS in it, or I could do a short course which would be at the exact time of my final exams. Since the course is 2 years anyway, I don’t want to leave it 3 years until I’m done with education by taking a year out, and I don’t want to risk my finals by putting extra pressure on with this short course, so museum studies it is!! That one actually suits what I want to do a lot better, but the Conservation course had a 9 month placement in a museum, and that museum could be in Williamsburg, Virginia, which is one of my favourite places in the world…we visited there a few years ago, and I just loved it. But I can always go back =)
